I got a perma ban without any reason given in the notification, and after an appeal I got it changed to a 72 hour suspension. My original notification of a "terminated gaming license" did not give any reason except the generic "suspicion of using bots, 3rd party software, etc". In my appeal I mentioned that I had streamed some of my activities (which is true) and that I had been spending a lot of time gearing alts and gearing for pvp. I also mentioned the use of add-ons to help farm ore/herbs etc (also true GatherMate, tomtom, among others) and posting them to the AH. I told them I was actively trying to play the AH through the use of multiple toons and maxxed out professions (also true). I went on to mention that I had talked to several GM"s over the years and had never had a problem until now. The only explanation I got was: Offense: Abuse of the Economy The actions detailed above have been deemed inappropriate for World of Warcraft. Due to the accumulation of previous infraction, as well as the above infraction, this World of Warcraft license has been reviewed for closure. After review, we have determined that the World of Warcraft license will not be closed. However, a 72 hour license suspension has been applied. So yeah me!! I filled out the survey sheet HB asks all banned people to fill out on these same forums if your interested in my back story.
