1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Gatherbuddy most of the times. 2)If so, when was the last time?: 3-4 days ago 3)What profile were you using?: [FLYING] VOTFW Ghost Iron Ore by Migdal V 0_3 4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Default Monk 5)What plugins are you using?: None 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Once in the 2 days I botted from 9 in the evening till 8 in the morning. Or sometimes 2h a day. 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? Well basicly, if I bot from 9 to 8 in the morning I just keep an eye on my bot from 9 till 12 and then I go to bed. 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: Like 60 on my bank character. But most of the items I had auctioned were items I flipped such as transmogs, plans, etc. 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? I used TMorph once or twice. 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Nope 10)EU or US realm? EU 11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? An actual paid account. So I got banned yesterday. I was weird... really weird. It was maintenance, and while it was maintenance I was still able to buy things off the auction house, as mentioned in the message below Straight after the maintenance was over, I got banned. I wasn't really worried, afraid or anything like that. Somehow, I was just 100% sure I would get unbanned, and it happened. From a perma-ban to a 72h suspension. This is the message, or appeal I sent to Blizzard; Dear Blizzard, I am writing to appeal a ban made on my World of Warcraft account. The account I am writing about is WOW1 on the battle.net account This morning, before the maintenance was over, I was still able to check the auction house on my cell-phone without any problems at all. After attempting to login to my account after the maintanance was over, a message appeared stated "This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer avaible for use.", I'm unaware of anything I did wrong. I hope you can resolve this issue as I am angry, upset and sad by the discovery?s I have recently made. Yours Sincerely, [NAME] I put this appeal together with help from one of Giwin's template letters. Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software Blizzard Entertainment has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software. These programs (commonly called cheats, bots, and hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of cheating undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment. Now, basicly this bot helps me out alot in situations where I have to go to school, study for exams or anything like that. I can't imagine me playing WoW without being able to bot. So this is actually the first ban I ever had ( on this account ) And I was wondering, if its still worth botting or not. Like ofcourse, botting is always risky, and ofcourse bannable, but I've been using this bot for almost over a year by now and I haven't had any problems untill now. I have the feeling that they'll be watching over me 24/7 to check wether I do something against the rules or not. What do you guys think? Sorry for the horrible spelling in this thread, I tried to put it together as fast as possible
The only person who can tell if that account is worth something to you, is you. Risk management, m8.... And 24/7 espionage on you from now on is only partially true - their server side detection scripts are always on. You were "watched over 24/7" prior to the ban - how else did they get the evidence? This time it's gonna be the same, instead with a straight up perma after you hit the thresholds. Real question is - are the thresholds lowered since you are a prior offender...
As HipDrahve suggests, don't bot on the account again unless you are cool with it being banned -which anecdotal evidence would suggest may be the case as your account may have been flagged for your offence. If you have characters on this Battle Net account that you care about then I would suggest you purchase a premade account or buy a Battlechest yourself and raise an account for the sole purpose of botting. Additional steps to secure your 'bot account' can be taken such as independent IP but that is another discussion...
I would love to have an account specificly for botting but I don't have the money to pay 25 euro per month for 2 account
What do you mean? xd My server is pretty crappy I only make like 5k a day I could make 50k a day on a mid-populated PvE server.
I meant how did you get perm ban away? Perm ban -> 72hour ban. How? what I didnt mean was "How did you get perm ban?"
