Dont post here much, honestly dont think I even posted when the account was actually banned which was in Feb. Only reason I'm posting now is I found this interested when I went to appeal my ban again today (8 months later) I took a look into your account, and its reason for closure. What I found was that we had two Account Admins do a review back in February. Each of them in turn found that the actions we took were in accordance to our policies. Their responses can be viewed on Ticket ID #s XXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX. Given that we did a lot of investigation at the time of this incident, I do still have to follow their ruling on the fate of the account, which is that the closure remains. Though I will admit that I investigated to see if I could find anything that stuck out as odd. What I saw was that the actions were taken during a time of consistent account access by the same computer location over the course of months. We utilize account actions as a way to protect the player base at large. We have chat, naming, and exploitation policies in place for the greater interests of the world of Azeroth at large. I know it's a lot of time and effort invested into the game, and I do not say this lightly. But I as well as other GMs will leave this account closed, and I apologize for the loss. And this says what? Nothing. Since you obviously tried to tell em your account got hacked. And they basically say, we saw you play from the same ip for months, so nothing was wrong with our decision. Is it only me or is nothing out of the ordinary in that post/ decision.
