PERMABANNED in wave then unbanned

PERMABANNED then unbanned

Got an email yesterday saying I was banned, was VERY upset because I had this account for a long time and started botting. Then emailed them for the hell of it saying it was compromised, GOT UNBANNED SOMEHOW.

Anyone banned in this wave (I believe there was a wave saw many posts at the same time as I) SHOULD JUST TRY TO GET UNBANNED.

I was using Gatherbuddy


2) If so, when was the last time?:
At time of banning, 3-29


3) What profile were you using?:
Just a Valley of Four winds Gathering


4) What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:
Monk Tuanha (I don't believe the profile resulted in my banning what so ever TuanHA has the best profiles)


5) What plugins are you using?:
Default Plugins

6) How many hours per day did you bot for?:
At the time of banning WAY TOO MUCH. Gather buddied for atleast 10 hours, got stupid.


6.5) What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
70%

7) How many auctions per day did you have?:
Once again way too many around 50 atleast.


8) Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?
No


9) Was your account involved in gold selling?
No


10) EU or US realm?
US


11) Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account?
Paid and a longtime account which I believed helped in my unbanning.

I am just extremely happy I got unbanned and am advising people that haven't contacted blizzard to try!

A mini wave then? Because there were a lot of people talking about being banned at the exact same time for the exact same reasons as I. I just assumed there was one.

 

i have contacted blizz and they dont want to unlock my account

 

I had two accounts banned, my roommates were also banned. Long time accounts from Beta in good standing with Blizz and they wont unban any of us. Same thing running gatherbuddy with plenty of auctions. I even called and got to the highest supervisor I could get to and they wont unban any of my accounts.

 

cant stress this enough 95% of the bans right now are coming from GB2. you will more than likely lose your account if you are going to gather so stop being dumb and just dont do it

 

Well considering there was no warning or anyone else getting banned prior. I've been botting for well over a year and never had any issues. Then all of a sudden permaban with no chance of getting it over turned.
