Okay I farm with my enhance shaman(lvl100) but what I was noticing when farming lower level dungeons with Suicide pulls is that when MAGMA TOTEM kills the target, I get NO loot.... is there a way to change this in the combat routine??? or maybe someone can give me a quick fix download? PLEASE if anyone can fix this.. it's messing with my loot = no gold income... I noticed this after running a profile for an hour and coming back to nothing in my bags.. ): so I watched it run it and boom... it was the magma totem messing everything up..
Its not honorbuddy or even a profile issue. Its a blizzard bug thats existed for years, personally thought it was fixed already. But anytime a pet or otherwise passive ability tags and kills a mob on its own, the mob is actually not tagged as yours to loot, its your totems to loot. Disable the use of magma totem and problem fixed.
You shouldn't open two threads on the same topic, if your Thread wasn't in the right place I'm sure some mod would have moved it. Anyway for your problem, as answered already in your other thread, it's a problem of your totem killing things, those Totems count as pets and if your pet kills a mob you won't get loot, that is if you don't do enough damage yourself on the mob. If you and your totem do damage, and the Totem happens to get the killingblow, you will get loot, but since you are farming lowlevel, and the totem is killing things by itself, you are not getting any loot. There is no way anybody here can fix that, since it's not a HB/Routine/whatever problem, but a WoW problem. You have to disable your totem when you are low level farming, shouldn't make a big differerence in clearspeed after all in low lvl. You can disable it in your Routine settings. If your routine does not support disabling it please tell the developer of the routine to consider implementing it. cheers, MoreCox
See, all 3 of you say disable it... my question is how do I disable it ._. lol ..I looked in the class config and bot config.. didn't see any options for magma totem, just Healing tide totem...
shamelessly quoting myself here. If disabling is not supported, you should tell the developer of the routine to consider implementing a way to disable it. Also, how could we possibly help you without knowing which CR you are using? If you tell us that, maybe someone can tell you where the option to disable it is, but your best bet would be contacting the author. cheers, MoreCox
Then you'll have to do as MoreCox says, contact the profile author about the problem. If you absolutely cant wait, you could always edit whatever CR you are using and remove the line(s) for magma totem.
