Depends of level. For example there at 85-90 grinding is better than questing, but at 70-80 questing is faster. If you left your bot for long time its better to grind, becouse chance of questing stuck is higher.
Grinding has the highest chance of being banned and BG grinding is just slow. I still have yet to try dungeons though.
1-15 quest/grind 15-80 raf instances with a dps + healer combo 80-85 arch (fast xp and 100% afk able) or questing if you want faster but cant afk tomuch 85-90 questing is the fastest, but again cant afk if you don't want a ban. or most afkable way 1-60 quest/grind 60-90 arch
Arch exp is INSANE, but it's only worth the time if you can fly... 150% is still a bit slow, get 280% asap and pick up arch.
How insane is "INSANE"? Are we talking higher than ~2.8mill xp/hour, which is what kicks questing kinda ends up giving at most?
I would assume the fastest way would be to 24/7 grind. But that would also be the most dangerous. From my personal experience, questing is pretty fast and much much safer. I can't say for dungeonbuddy for I haven't tried it personally.
Personally, I've done it a couple different ways, albeit slower ways than say, questing/grinding 24-7. (The latter I do NOT recommend!) The first: I went to the previous xpac lands and farmed ore/herbs. Note that though they are 'grey', I.E. you do not raise your herb/mining levels when you farm them, they still yield XP! A couple (heavily truncated) notes on the first method: Less people in old content. You can't fly until level 90 in MoP - flying in the previous (Cata) content beats ground navigation in new content for many (some should be quite obvious..) reasons. Old mats can also sell better than new mats. The second: As previously mentioned, Archaeology! You're flying around in the wide world...of Warcraft, where the only people you'll see are those also digging the sites. Let's face it - some would rather pour acid on their nether regions than level their Arch. But this secondary profession not only yields a decent amount of XP at a moderate pace, but the solved items are pretty rad. Well, at least most of them. And all the gray items? Well they can sell for 1 to 100gold (a piece!)..after a few hours you'll easily have over 1K. It's pretty neat to log back on in the morning and seeing a few legendary BOA items, a few new pets, and some novelty items in your bags. I recommend getting the LogMeOut plugin for *any* use of HB. Set it to run for a few hours, and it'll automagically log you out. Bot in moderation! EDIT: At the moment, Arch is yielding around 2M/hour.
Is the xp in arch based on location or can I fly around starter continent and get the same xp? I find it taking SO long to fly between the digsites that my xp/hr suffers pretty badly. I do agree though, it's fairly smooth, the gold from grays is nice, and the items you get are pretty interesting.
Btw I was wondering if u go to a specific digsite to get this experience or if they all give the same experience? Never done Arch =s thanks
ah atm i have 2 bots running, 1 is questing and other is doing archaeology, the arch one is at at lvl 30 arch and lvl 64 combat. the quest bot is about twice as fast on experience. is this normal? is this cause of my arch lvl? questing bot is at 220k/hr and arch is at 120k/hr
I think the point here is you need a balance between speed vs afk vs safe botting. Eg grind leveling is easy to afk but slow and possibly not safe over time. Arch leveling is slower but easy to afk and relatively safe. Questing is not really afk'able but is fast. And so on... Id be keen to hear if people have had success leveling via pet battles?
