I thought you did this one before! lol

      Botting Rig 1:

AMD Duo core 2.0ghz (i need to upgrade that)
      64 bit win 7
      8 GB ram
      2TB hdd
      ATI 5770 + ATI 4850 (non SLI - I use it for 4 monitors)
      650w psu

      2nd botting rig:
      Laptop -
      1.5ghz duo core (intel)
      64 bit win 7
      4GB ram
      240 GB HDD
      Nvidia 8600m

      3rd botting rig
      Laptop -
      AMD 2.0 ghz duo core
      32-bit vista (yuck)
      2 GB ram
      120gb hdd
      nvidia 7150m

I have a 3rd laptop that can play wow, but very poorely. I use it for music and downloading movies / tv shows

For x-mas this year I want to build me a better gaming / botting PC... but we'll have to see if its in the cards

Ironically, the laptops are actually very stable in botting. They don't lag at all, and it lets me play on the main rig as well =)

      Oh right my bad..

16gb ram (proably going to upgrade to 24 but need a new motherboard with 6 slots first)
128gb SSD (so I can run wow's faster)
      2x1tb harddrives
      2x5770 graphics cards
      i7 quad core processor
      6 monitors (2x24inch 2x23.6inch 1x21inch 1x19inch)
      i.jpg
Two arnt working yet - waiting for my displayport addapters to arrive before I can use all 6. My damn graphics cards require me to have the 3rd monitor be display port.

:p Using hdmi on top two 24inch. bottom two 23.6inch will be DVI and other two will be plugged into the computer as displayport and converted to DVI with the two addapters I bought (if your thinking of doing it make sure the addapter is active otherwise it wont work).

Ahh, I scrolled down too fast! Man, the 5770's rock! I like dx11 :)

What are you using for adapters from the dp or hdmi port(s)? are you adapting them to dvi?

aha yeah they do :p my only real complaint with them is the display port requirment for 3rd monitor but hey it was like 30$/converter so no huge deal I guess. Definatly worth it for the extra space.

Water cooled? Little overboard dont you think? I have like 4 fans + 2 on graphics cards + heatsink and ive been fine.

Watercooling's good for more than cooling. Great for a silent rig. And it's certainly not overkill, you can get a great watercooling setup for ~$150

It's never too late! Just replace some heatsinks and you're done.. 45 minute job at the most. Believe me.. you'll enjoy the quiet.

I don't really notice the noise to be honest. Maybe I'll do it if/when i upgrade my motherboard and ram.
