Hey there, I started using ProfessionBuddy to level up mining/herbalism. It worked fine until around 300 in both skills, then it got pretty wonky. It kept taking me to Uldum making circles there although the professions were too low to gather anything. I'd move it manually back to Un'goro and it'd just fly right back there. I took it across the sea to check if that fixes it, at which point it just flew me straight to Elwyn and kept circling there instead, where of course everything's too low. Thanks for any help! This is weird. I thought GB2 profile has nothing to do when you decide to use PB. Actually I leveled both mining+herbalism in a toon using the PB profile even using a Black.xml as bot profile and the default 1-525 mining+herb (PB profile). It went all well :S The only problem was when it returned from northrend (!!) I see it stuck in Undercity Zeppelin when I woke up.
yes you can use a blank profile as well,thats why i am talking about a random Gb2 profile Hb just want a valid(depending to Hb mode)profile loaded
I just downloaded Blank_Profile.xml from https://kicks-scripts.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Kick's Profiles/Useful Stuff/Useful Profiles/ . After restarting HB, used that profile, opened PB and loaded Mining-Herb (1-525)flying-GB2(v2) from it, it's still flying around Uldum while the profession skills are in the low 300's. You should add a referrer field to people that buy this. I made the OP get this bot after spamming him with things it can do. Gief reward.
I followed the instructions exactly - I exited HB, deleted the folder and replaced it with your attachment, then extracted the profile. I then took the druid to Un'goro just to be on the safe side. I restarted HB using that profile for GB2, started PB, opened from it the 1-525 PB profile that took me to 300ish before... ... and the damn thing just flew straight back to Uldum. It only stopped for a second on the way to pick a thorium node. I even installed HB from scratch earlier this morning in case it made a difference. So no go... any ideas?
Thanks for all the help, Tony. In retrospect, I think PB is buggy around 250-300 (or maybe it's a problem with that particular profile at that range). Once I hit 300+ in both skills through a combination of manual farming and smelting, it took me to Outlands where it's working fine. It's possible if I had smelting on, I wouldn't have ran into the same issue.
what was the fix? mine just fly's to Uldum the same as yours did and i cannot find anything to change. I have tuned herb off coz i only have mining and it is level 200. Please help!
