Hi, I'm really interested in purchasing this product, however, I do have some concerns I would like to community to clear up. 1) There are many threads about this bot being "down" and unusable at times. This seems to be a consistent thing, and I'm wondering if the payment plan fits the actual time one gets to actually use the bot. I purchase 90 days, but how many days will I really expect to use this bot successfully? I understand there are hiccups, but I don't enjoy paying for a service I get to use for half the time. 2) It seems this is not a completely AFK bot. Which to me, doesn't even give justice to "bots" in general. If I needed to be at my computer, why would I purchase a bot when I could just sit there and level up quicker? I don't understand why I would pay for a service that only "somewhat" works as advertised. 3) Is this the best bot available on the internet? Hard question I realize, but I would just like to make the most informed decision. I am not intending for this thread to sound cruel, and I hope no one takes it the wrong way. I have had poor luck in the past with sites that provide "bots" and turn out providing only a portion of what they claim. I just would like to make the most educated and informed decision before throwing away my hard earned money on something of this nature. Please feel free to correct my assumptions, it would be greatly appreciated.
1) This weekend is the only time I have had problems with it being down. I bought the bot when it went back up for sale, but I was also gone for 10 days. 2) It depends on what you want the bot for. The bot functions completely AFK if you put it on a grind in an area. Unfortunately, because of the way the game is coded, it'll only run for about 4-6 hours and then it will crash because Bioware has some pretty bad programmers (If you've played the game end-game you know that's true ). If you want the bot to level a character for you, and want it to do the quests, then you'll have to babysit it. It doesn't handle a lot of aspects of quests well, such as when you fight a boss and get it to low health and then have to talk to the boss. It straight up gets stuck there. You can use this bot to level, but it's slower than if you actually did it yourself. So on days like double xp weekends I try to play as much as I can and let the bot take over when I go out. 3) It's the best (only) bot I've found. The other bots sites that claim to have SWTOR bots (aside from Lucky's space bot, which will get you banned) are really just selling keys to this bot. So yeah, I would go so far as to say that this bot isn't fully functional in terms of really anything outside of grinding, but I'd also say this is a you get what you pay for type situation. It's 4 dollars a month, and when you look at it that way imo it's more than worth it. I've heard the bot handles the dailies well, but I have no experience there yet.
Because... It's the only bot out there for SWTOR right now that has background mode and that doesn't just do space missions. If you really want to bot swtor, unfortunately this is really your only option, unless you want a very fast ban. So you get background mode like I mentioned, and the more money we can get thrown at this project, the more likely the dev's will step up and work on it some more. If it's not profitable for them, we aren't going to see much improvement (simple supply and demand, they have a lot of projects and their time has to be allocated towards the demand). Although I think having the mesh client side would solve 90% of the freezes. So please purchase the software and help us all improve upon it! Oh and you can get isboxer and have 2 swtor windows up at the same time. This way you can bot and play woot!
I love it, people always neglect to factor in electricity costs! I live where it's only $0.09/kwh (dirt cheap)and it still costs around $9/month to run 1 basic gaming computer. If it's a higher end pc you might be looking at $12-20/month. Isboxer is only $15/90 days. That's $5/month, and you get to have all the game instances right in front of you, which utilizes the same keyboard/mouse. Not to mention they allow you to cap your cpu/gpu usage per instance. Why would you want to use a 2nd computer if your first is not capped out at 80%?? That is more expensive
lol... its rlly not tht much difference. alot of ppl have kids and up to 4 computers with computers running all the time. and if u r a true botter u have more then one account. so ya. it was just a suggestion instead of putting all tht load on 1 computer... i know my computer would not be able to handle more then 2-3 acounts at one time. and i def know our internet wouldnt be able to handle 2 plus everything ese we run on it. so tht option for me is mute never the less. although it does sound very nice. if bw is still running by the time 2.0 hits. then i might consider a second account for now i wil just focus on lvl my toons ^_^ and i was only suggestion 2 computers because alot of ppl do not have high end computers like me. i have average. so. and like i said our internet would not be able to handle the load anyways. -.- dsl sucks.
Yeah, I'm waiting to commit with more accounts etc. until I see what 2.0 does. I'm pretty optimistic, but cash is tight and it's always better to be safe than sorry
yep i totally agree. xD right now im just gonna focus getting my toons to 50 xD everything else i can do myself hehe me and questing just dont get along haha
I think you're missing another big reason to use isboxer.. It caps your FPS. You can cap the background mode instances to 12FPS, and easily run 7 or 8 SWTOR accounts on most quad core computers. Even a crappy dual core (above 2.6ghz if amd) would be able to run 4 if you use isboxer and know how to optimize a PC. Now as for your internet, there must be other reason's you can't use more than 3 instances because I have one computer that I run off my phone's modem so it has an independent IP, and I can run 5+ accounts on it. I dare say your DSL is better than my 3G phone that gets 0.5 Mb up and 2Mb down. Now if you're trying to stream netflix, have all 4 computers play pandora and other resource hogs, then yeah you probably shouldn't even bother botting lol. Now having 4 computers on, and having 4 computers fully botting are two different things, and will utilize different amounts of electricity. I suggest you buy a KW meter and actually test how much electricity each computer is utilizing. It is actually really exciting to see. For the other computer that you say your kids use regularly, I would suggest setting those to sleep or hibernate after 15-20min of non use. If you can drop the consumption that each one uses by 70% a day, you will be really excited to see your electric bill drop. Anyways, I'm not targeting you directly, I just want to make sure other users are informed and not taking losses. I'll drop the subject, but just know you're missing out on a really awesome program that will save you money in the long hall. Side note: My botting rig has 32core/64GB ram and only utilizes $20/month in electricity. If I had all separate computers, that would equate to 8 quad core pc's. The electricity difference is insane! 8 pc's at $9/month each is $864/year vs $240/year. Now if you live in HI or CA where electricity can run $0.23/kwh you can expect the saving to be even more drastic. -X
