      Hi,

I'm all new to this bot thing. Reason: Want to keep up, but IRL goes first (sadly)...

The main reason why I got interested in all this was that a friend of mine used Honorbuddy to sort out his PvP gear in WoW and I thought; 'This is exactly what I need in SWtoR!!'. Appearently there is no such profile for Buddy Wing and seemingly there have been a few other bots, such as iDroid, Maestro, JC etc, but there are no posts to be found about them after jan 2012. All the links ends up in 404.

What's up? Why have all the Projects ended? And why is there no profile for Wing Buddy? Simply lack of interest?

      Regards.

SWTOR is very poorly coded. Walter calls it "spaghetti code". On top of that, the devs apparently caught wind of Buddywing before launch and obfuscated a bunch of code.

If you're expecting anything near Honorbuddy's capabilities, you'll be sorely disappointed. Honorbuddy itself is only great because of user creations, and the community here is extremely small. Buddywing is great for Lazy-Raider style play, and there are some excellent profiles for dailies and leveling and grinding.

PVP doesn't work well at all right now. The bot bugs out when other players use stealth, which is all the time in PVP. There is also no way to automate the games. You could try to use Pure and Lazy-Raider and have the bot perform rotations while you move the character, but like I said, there's a 50% chance it bugs out when someone uses stealth.

The most pvp bots that where created and used by people, where so bad, the where banhammered very badly.
There where even bigger banwaves at start for pvp bots then space and grind.
After pvp i gues they focussed on space and then it just... flatten out...
The bans that are given out now or for people botting stupid or player reports or the big being grinded zones.
That said, pvp could be way bigger if at start it was handled better.
What needs to be taken care of is pvp logic, mesh and handling stealth. if these where handled in my oppinion, pvp should be viable.
Heck lazyraider style works great... but thats not what your looking for.
