Did anyone else get a pw reset before the ban this week? Typically I get a 72 hr ban, but this time was perma with pw reset on a fresh account.
Yea I know they do that sometimes. Like when the header in your email has "wow gm" in it which pretty much means you got hit by a manual ban with permas and pw reset. The last 5 times i can remember its been 72 hr for questing on fresh accounts and no pw reset, so this is new to me. Im just hoping it was a manual and not the new auto, cause it just had the normal auto ban template.
For your information, that ban you got IS "automated". I had same problem with few accounts, also called them playing dumb and shit, and I managed to get some info off the CS guy. He told me that there is automated "program" that is spreading bans. Was farming dungeons only tho, 5-10h/day. I was expecting the ban as I was doing the same thing over and over testing etc. So yeah, there are automated bans, and after (if) you appeal on ban, then the GM checks your account activity and decides about suspension. Also funny thing is that I've turned all those perma bans to active account, not even suspension or anything. They are improving, that's expected. Don't bot if you aren't ready to loose bot account!
