Quest Rewards - Planetary Commendations

Out of curiosity, is there a way to make it so that it only takes planetary commendations for quest rewards?

 

Yes, open your questing profile and search for RewardIndex="
Change the value inside the " " to 0.
You will have 90-95% of the commendations. At some quest reward they are at a different spot.

So for instance change RewardIndex="1" to RewardIndex="0"

Save file and go bot.

FYI this will also fix most if not all of the "bot stopped at quest turn-in" issues.

 

it doesnt seem to be getting commendations.. somehow with 0 it seems to be getting no reward, but a heap of credits instead lol

 

yeah i believe 0 is no reward you just get credits comms would be 1

 

moving on to taris when nav server comes back up, changed that profile to all 1's see what happens

 

If the quest has 1 reward, you will get XP, Credits and that one reward. If there is no reward you get XP and credits.
The commendations are stored on a different tab in your inventory.

If your early in the game, there arent much rewards with the commendations, they are there but not existing in EVERY quest...

 

so far my toon is mid 30's and basically every quest has had commendations on it -_-

Edit - also i was watching it and even on quests where there were planetary commendations and it was set to 0 in the quest profile it would still take no reward and take credits instead

 

Like i said, you CANT take only credits...
Commendations are stored on a different tab in your inventory with a max of 100 commendations

 

i realise they're on another tab and have a max of only 100, i currently have 27... i had 17 when i was watching it, it would hand in a quest, i would get no items including commendations because they wouldnt go up and i'd have no new items or the quest rewards that were available.. but instead i would get like 1800 credits for example, i never paid much attention to what the actual credit rate was for the quest rewards, but i can tell you for a fact i wasnt getting commendations or items, it was super weird or maybe it bugged out because i know i've had mail from bioware sent for a quest reward i didnt recieve in the past, but yeah 0 was def not getting me commendations so i dont know

 

Then you most likely are having a SWTOR issue and not bot related or MAYBE MAYBE bot lags the SWTOR client and SWTOR goes bezerk.
Wild guessing thow. But if you have changed Rewardindex to 0 it will pickup everything at slot 1 of your reward items (0 = first slot, 1 = second slot, etc.)

Maybe consider also trying to reinstall SWTOR, seeing the many issues you have...

could be a swtor install issue, and the only real problems i've had is that and this... the issue i had with pure was not having another combat routine installed also, which is fixed and before the nav server went down was running amazingly. I mean some meshing wouldnt go astray there is a lot of collision on planets and a few other things, but it works ok

 

If you encounter mesh issues on planets please report them!
If we have a full list of mesh issues the devs might consider to fully remesh then to ignore the problem.

 

been to alderaan lately, basically every tree is a mesh issue, it wasnt too bad, pretty fluid and got through alderaan really well, except any tree's in it's path, i'll take note of others in the future

 

I think trees arent meshed on EVERY outside planet.
Been having tree issues even on tython

 

I dont know if it was some kinda issue with bioware servers, but from when i last logged out after doing alderaan and not thinking i got any quest rewards i have about 12 more planetary commendations now then i did before.. i'm pretty sure thats from having it set to 0 earlier, might have been some kinda server lag or something not sure
