Does anyone know if someone has created a botbase that does the dungeons better than Dungeonbuddy? OR an addon plugin that assists where dungeonbuddy fails to perform? Mainly I just want to be able to 100% afk dungeons since i run them in groups of 5, but I am finding that even in WoD I have to monitor the bots because they become stuck or don't do certain bosses, or take way too long on certain bosses because of mechanic focus... etc. Either that, orrrrr Is there a way to manually edit dungeonbuddy like there is for Singular? Can I go through the code and attempt to fix the parts that I find either not working properly or are buggy? I'd happily take a look at this if I could access it, because its very important to me and a few friends (investors ? O_O) if we can get it to afk 100% of the time in WoD heroics. Thanks for any information posted here that furthers my cause or obsession ^)^
There's no real alternative to Dungeonbuddy and there's never been a need for anything else. Sure you could go through the code and try to adjust to it help you out. The dungeon scrips are in the dungeon scripts folder. Keep in mind that wow is in a major transitional phase right now and much of the bot has to be updated. A ton has changed and it should only be accepted that almost everything has to be updated accordingly. Wait a few weeks and everything will most likely be pack up to par. And if it's not, you should be reporting the issues you're having, with logs, in the appropriate support threads.
I have no clue how it ran pre-patch, so I wouldnt know if these bugs im seeing were already a problem before, or if they are now. Thats my biggest reason for not wanting to wait, because I just dont know if they are working as intended etc etc. Thank you for telling me about the scripts and their locations though, that will help me at least get an idea as to how complicated it may get if I really want to dive in .
Well, as I said, if you're having problems, you really should be reporting said problems in the appropriate support thread for Dungeonbuddy. If you're having issues with the combat routines, you should be reporting the issues in the appropriate support thread for those as well.
