So at first i need to say that im quite new in the bot business so pls dont flame me My question is wheather Blizzard can see how much im farming and how many hours etc...at the moment i only farm whiptail in uldum... As a started botting i thought i could go a lot of time because my server is quit calm..so not many people on it...and so a used the bot nearly the whole day ^.^ on patchday i got a bann..then i sended a mail to blizz and so it was changed to a 72h ban... So...the question is now? did i get that ban because someone ( another player farming too) told blizz i was botting or did blizz itself noticed it? 2nd question is...iam now on the "blacklist" and they look closer at my account? XD PS I dont sell anything to other players or in the AH.. Thx 4 the answers
I'm no xpert, but here is what I have learned from others. Blizz can't see you "botting." What they do see if the path you take for farming, time online, breaks, time at nodes, movements, behaviors, and a host of other things that they can use to presume that you are botting. From what I have read, it is usually player reports that get Blizz's attention for bots. Since you are on a smaller pop server, players tend to interact with others more, if you are AFK botting, then they will report you if you don't respond. If you accept the 72 hour ban, to some degree you admit guilt. Appeal the ban and tell them you don't accept the 72 hr ban, because you didn't do anything wrong. Yes, Blizz may watch you closer because of this incident. Take a break, then bot when you are able to monitor the bot, and don't bot for extended periods 4 hrs, then take a day off.
I have not accepted it.. it told that i was in holiday and got hacked or some crap like that and i worked ^^ yeah i avoid farming in long periods...and try to make some breaks
I would never tell them that it was not you. Telling them it was not you or that you were hacked, pretty much gives them the green light to ban your account. If you had an authenticator they will be able to disprove, and if they see what IP address you were logged in on, and its your normal address, then you are just lying to them. Dispute that you were botting, say it was you but you were just flying around herbing. Say that you don't talk to anyone when you gather (its an MMO but you are not required to talk to anyone). And bot like a damn human, don't gather 1 particular node (whiptails) for 12 hours. No one in their right mind is going to fly around an area for 12 hours gathering 1 type of plant.
Uldum farming made my bot acc get banned same day it dinged 85. Aka. I farmed in uldum for less than 48 hours. Don't visit Uldum.
If Blizz suspect that you're Botting. They can monitor your Computers RAM and other programs that run at the same time as WoW.
exactly are ... stay away from gathering ... I run 24/7, all my gathering bot (mining / herbalish) got ban when u run 12h++, but all my skining bot running strong untill now
