Hello HB community, approximately one year ago my account was closed, i was done with WoW. Now I was clearing my email account and found the emails regarding the ban again. It says: (Translation from german) "Accountname: censored Charactername: censored Server: censored Type of offense: repeated use of so-called third-party programs Action taken: permanent account closure We want to inform you that we had to close your World of Warcraft Account for further investigation, due to a gross violation against our name-giving terms. Due to the fact mentioned above, the account must be strictly investigated. This may possibly lead to further sanctions. You will receive an e-mail from our Account Security Support team with detailed information on this topic. If you want to view the current rules again, you can find them here: http://eu.blizzard.com/support/index...ategoryId=9742 More information about the amount of possible penalties, please visit: http://eu.blizzard.com/support/artic...rticleId=50080 Sincerely, Game Master censored Blizzard Entertainment Europe " So at the top they say I have repeatedly used third party programs, however, down below they say something about a violation against their naming terms (the character's names were always legit). My question now is whether Blizzard made a mistake and it shouldn't had come to a ban. Maybe someone of you knows this topic and can help me. Greetings Ruxxax
First off, did you appeal it? If not then since it has been a while, say that you quit wow for a while and when you went to come back it was closed. Say that you questioned your 14 year old brother and he decided to use it since you were not playing. Should be overturned rather easily.
Are you sure this translation is correct ? First we have this. After this we have this. Can you post the original so we can check for ourselves ? Maybe Google Translate is failing hard.
Of course Google Translation is failing hard, that's why i translated it myself. But you got the point, they're giving me two different reasonings for the ban.
