How many have been able to find the forum rules and regulations prior to it being reposted today? It was on the 11th page of the General Discussion Forum (bottom of forum just before archives) And last item if you used search function with "forum rules" as search topic
i got blasted for posting against the rules i had never seen and another guy got a 4week mute just trying to see if they properly posted the rules before enforcing them. if say more then 50% of people had never found them its kinda unfair to enforce a 4week mute when 3days is usual if it was you who got the 4 week mute u would probably be happy sum1 is trying to see validity of it And imho reposting the rules so u can find them AFTER muting sum1 for 4 weeks is kinda behind the point especially since he was a monthly gb user
no tony put then in that forum TODAY after another mod muted a guy for 4weeks IT was my suggestion he move it where its right up top.......
The kid was muted for 4 weeks because he made 3 threads about the same topic after Tony closed the first two, he made a third which awarded him the 4 week. It was justified.
no i restarted 1 of them because it was closed because they thought it was aimed at dev's when in fact it was a question to the comunity. look at all 3 locked posts 1 of them was created by ME THis is a poll not a discussion forum its a simple yes or no question plesae refrain from straying off topic if YOU take this to an unallowed topic you will get muted not me. its not about that kid its wether or not u found the forum rules on pg 11 of the general discussion forum prior to it being moved to a sticky in each
Last post here because this topic is pointless, he didn't need to read the rules to get the idea that after the first 2 locked topics making a 3rd would prolly not be a good idea, especially after calling the Mods rude
The rules have been up as announcements for a very long time. You just haven't noticed them. And now that Tony has bumped them back into the forum stats at the top of the page, you want to bitch that they *just* made it there. It's not the staff's fault that you're not observant. Edit; just to prove my point: Sticky: Gatherbuddy-Honorbuddy Forum Rules & Guidelines Started by Tony, 15.01.2010 06:38 That means JANUARY 15th, 2010. Almost 8 months in the same place...
read liquid's post states same thing there, and 50 people have /signed it i posted 3rd since u cant read and ive been a member for 4 months and never found the rules n reg's either its in a useless forum for me, im not here to chat in general discussion im here to get profiles cc's and program (+support) 2 posts got him muted the 3rd was >>>>ME<<<<<
In the end these forums are owned by Bossland and team, their word is final regardless of what anyone else may think. And besides there is no use in arguing the point it is just a waste of energy and time. Morga
It doesn't matter who made the post, he kid posted in the 3rd thread regarding same topic didn't matter if he made it, he continued it. I don't see the relevance to this since the Rules have always been in the same place.
well in pm from tony they stated they used to allow private (dont wanna say the word) due to fear of mute =p but that was well after the date apoc said the rules were set. so if old cc dev's used to talk about mapping hb1 in those unallowed areas AFTER the rules were posted did they also not read the rules? or just disreguard them. The creating a mesh Sticky for hb1 suggested using a private area to map faster and safer. that was in april when i joined......not january when rules were posted apoc?
i have never said that we allow private servers discussions i just said that some Hb versions worked on private in the past nothing more nothing less
