Hey, Looking for some help with RAF, a few people have suggested to use HB1, however I cant find profiles for it, for some reason.. Im assuming Im just missing something to be honest. The problem I have currently, is as follows: Party leader: Priest lvl 9 Assit: Paladin level 13 My idea here is go get the paladin to assist the priest during questing up until they are on equal levels to then change roles and have the priest as a heal bot, however the paladin simply follows the priest around and doesnt attack anything.. Im currently using default profiles, however the same thing happened when I used customs. Could anyone shed any light on this please? Im probably being really silly with something, but until I ask Im not going to find out. There are no errors or anything untoward in the log just doesnt seem to attempt to attack.
Ive just tried using it now, but the same problem All my log says is: RaF Leader set towarf - Priest Activity: Pulling Young Black Bear now. #RaF : Leader is pulling# Activity: Pulling Juvenile Snow Leopard now. Which looks ok? Ok looking at it, it seems to target the mob, but not attack it :S
Use the priest as the healer and paladin as the main. If they are RAF he will level and catch up soon enough. As for profiles look for mord's old 1-20 20-45+ and 45-60 proflles. I am just using the custom paladin cc right now as I cannot locate a version of mord's that works on HB1 currently. I have 2 pallies running now since saturday(I had auth issues all day yesterday) and they are both 46 right now.
I haven't actually tried 1.9.5.3 with RAF, but I tried it with 1.9.5.1 and I could only get it to work for about half an hour, then the follower would lose the leader. With HB1, it seems to work perfectly. I think most of the profiles still work with HB1, as long as they're not questing profiles.
Interestingly enough this actually seems to assist.. (I dont have a heal bot cc on the priest yet) but it does stop following after a very short while, any ideas why this is? edit: I think I see why, I think its because of the lack of Mana
From another bot I know the option to let the leader wait till every member of the party is x yards away.. That's a nice function for regging or if the leader has a talent set to run faster than the other party members. I have no idea how difficult it is to implement such a function. But it Gould be nice to get it in hb.. Anybody out there who may implement that to the raf options?
If I 30lv druid and CC the druid. It's joining the party, the character should walk behind the leader and the group heal? I ask because I do not work. I click start and it is immediately stop.
Ok 1 other issue that I've just stumbled on, when the healer res' she doesnt try to find the leader, she just stands there.. also HB seems to shut down without error when trying to res sometimes (no warden check when opening back up) Also the leader doesnt come and take the aggro back off the healer when there's multiple targets (i.e killing one, healer heals and pulls the target), im assuming this is CC related?
khryptors won't change the fact that HB will stop doing what it is suppose to do in RaF eventually. my record so far is 30 minutes before HB screwed me over
RaF for me was an exercise in frustration. Every time a flight path was taken you have to stop the RaF bot or you need to shutdown and restart HB. If you go out of range, shutdown and restart HB. Randomly for no reason it would just stop working, shutdown and restart HB. Would attack straightaway then on next mob wouldn't attack at all. I managed to get to level 19 then gave up. Would be faster to just /follow for the triple XP rather than the frustration of trying to use HB. Or use ISBoxer and spend a few minutes setting up some macros.
I just RAFed two characters to 60, you have to use HB1, or else the follower will just lose the leader.
