So I'm looking to use the $5 battle chest on the launcher, and I was wondering, if I used recruit a friend and got the battle chest etc.. would botting on the new account effect my main account if the new account got banned later on? Or is it safe, the reason I ask is that I'm wondering if they would be strict over IP's.
I've just done that too, signed up using someone in my households name. That way, if it does get banned, I can claim that I recruited my housemate hence the same IP. If they need to see IDs or w/e, I have it available to send. I'm a bit wary about running both accounts off the same PC though.
I got one of my RAF accounts banned earlier this year. I was incredibly reckless with it, and there was no way anyone would doubt it was account created just for botting gold. None of my other accounts or other RAF accounts were so much as touched. Take that as you will though it doesn't mean that they can't or won't do it.
