my prior resto druid was banned dec 11, so i resubbed on one of my former botting accounts and added wod. now calling it account 1, i leveled a druid i had botted on previously up to 100 and started raiding on it. i only use enyo+leaves on this account. many days i sit in my garrison with hb on, enabled and idle just waiting for hours until the raid begins. i raid morning, noon and night, w/e is going on at the moment, but never anything but raiding. and only Enyo with Leaves. Jan 2nd, i opened 2 other accounts to try my hand at suicide dungeon farming. took me 4 days to level to 90 with RaF. I then spammed grim batol for 20+ hours a day for the next 26 days. netted around 630k. transferred all the gold via the auction house, never traded f2f with my main account, account 1. lets call these two accounts- account 2 and account 3. Feb 1 the two accounts ran out of gametime without a warning, suspension, or ban. I got bored and around the tenth of feb, i resubbed one of the accounts, account 2. i started a new toon on a different server and leveled to 85ish grinding gatherbuddy 20ish hours a day mixed with questing 1-90 profile pack. with hardly any downtime. again, its a suicide account so its really not an issue. yesterday when the server came back up, i logged on to my main account and ran around my garrison for around an hour, no activity for the rest of the day, into the night. this morning at 5ish, cst, i get a 72hr suspension to my main account. nothing on the suicide account. this is very odd considering i havent experienced a 72 hour ban since wotlk. always a permaban. suspension is standard-third party software warning. yet the suicide account which i have abused terribly gets nothing. im wondering if the gm is just being clever in his warning, or if its something else. pissed off player id guess. ive spoken to a few gms, telephone and live chat, and have been told many times, there is no chance of a suspension because of my prior botting history. ive really never been shady about it, i got caught many times, i owned up to it and i usually get the reply to open a new account and straighten up and i wont be bothered again. most every single ban ive attempted to contact blizz about gets the same 'youve been caught before, that was your warning' yeh, for awhile i tried subterfuge with different names, pay sources, what have you, but the last year or so, i just use my real name and address just in case i need to post my id to access my account. i just dont know how to feel with this 72h suspension, its out of left field, its not expected, its really not warranted, i didnt abuse the account, didnt profit from the account, odd that they would suspend the minimal account and not bother the suicide account. is this a gift from the heavens, or did i just hit the botting ban jackpot. pm me if you have had a similar event. always up to theorycraft botting behavior.
