Does anybody play with the Razer Naga Mouse?

How can i set it up so it does NOT use the buttons 1-12 on my keyboar but instead uses buttons all over my keyboard.

for example if i want it to press my keyboard button "K" if i press the Razer Naga Thumbgrid Button 8

      is that possible ?

No. The Naga can use Numpad Buttons 1-12, or your normal 1-0 and ? Buttons on your Keyboard. To optimize your Gameplay, just use wasd or esdf as moving keys, buttons 1-4 and all the buttons you can easily reach around your moving keys, including shift, strg and alt as modifiers, and your Naga on Numpad. Like that, you can become a nonclicker in no time, and use your Naga and Keyboard to the fullest. I don't know how many Keybindings are possible like that, but it's a lot, I am playing like that and it really makes you faster then other players.

I;m not sure what exactly your looking to do. It sounds like you want k to be a keybinding and have button 8 on the mouse use the k keybind. I would say just use bartender4 and when you set keybindings just go over the ability and press 8 on the mouse and it will set it. hope this helps because i may have misunderstood what your asking.

If i open the keybinding setting in bartender 4 and hover over the button and press button 8 on my naga it sets the keybind ingame on button 4 on my keyboard. it uses the actual numbers on my keyboard

i want it to NOT use NUMPAD neither buttons 1-12 on my keyboard. is that possible ?

Yes this is possible but it takes a bit of work. I know it can be done on OSX if you install their driver (the one from the razer naga website) and then you can choose a behaviour for each key on the mouse. The one you'd want is to simulate another keystroke.

Actually, i just got it working.

All you have to do is to create a macro in the naga configurator for each key bound ingame and then assign that macro to the according key on your naga ... works like a charm.

already got wasd for moving, 1-5 for the most important spells, all buttons around that set and i use the 12 naga buttons for other keystrokes such as k g i u o etc.

It's an awesome mouse...aside from the 17 programmable buttons, the precision tracking, weight and feel of the mouse is top quality. I have heard of complaints from people with bigger hands, but fits me perfectly.
