I know there are numerous posts asking if this is a good bot or not but I need an up to date opinion I just started playing a couple weeks ago and while the gathering/crafting system is definitely more fun than most MMO's I can tell I'm going to get bored of it really quick. First bot that came up was this one and reviews seem good. My main questions are: 1. How is the gathering in particular? 2. What's the ban rate like on this game and with this bot in particular? 3. Do you recommend purchasing this bot?
1. Gathering is the best out there, the Nav Mesh does the trick. 2. I'm not sure. I say this because i haven't heard of anyone getting banned. I botted for a bit on WoW to level up only, and got banned twice. I bot 24/7 in here with two accounts and nothing. I think Square just doesn't care. 3. If you want to bot in FFXIV, then yes. Get the lifetime key.
Okay I think I'll give it a shot. I've been reading more on the forums about the Fate Bot as well. Are there good pre-made profiles for use on the forums or is it all pretty self explanatory as far as making your own?
There's lots of other threads (tbh sometimes it seems like every other one) on this topic. Gathering is excellent. Ban rate is for practical purposes nil, as SE is very lenient in regards to botting (long as you dont RMT). Lifetime purchase provides great value for buddy bots in general. No dealing with monthly sub fees like with other bots; you pay once and have it forever. If the profiles you're referring to are gathering ones, then its pretty easy to make for most nodes. For unspoiled, you'll generally have to use ones that community developers made, which are good but might not be exactly what you want (and are hard to edit if you dont have the knowledge).
Fate Bot doesn't need profiles, you just teleport to the area you want to do fates in and start it. You should definitely change its settings so it doesn't do fates too high above your level. Even low level zones have some 40+ fates sometimes, so make sure to change fate bot's settings. For gathering, you want to use OrderBot with a good profile. They are made in XML, and fairly simple to understand; but there's many already in the Profiles section of the forums. I also suggest that you download some of the plugins in here. Something to automatically repair lets you grind fates / gather all night. There's two options, RePear or Agil (which I made). For crafting, you can use OrderBot profiles or give Lisbeth a try. The mining bot alone has me hooked, but I have a question about "sessions." What are sessions when I'm looking at the product page?
Simultaneous instances of the bot. So if you want to run four bots at a time (on four FFXIV accounts/characters) you would need four sessions. One session is all you need if all you're doing is botting on a single character.
