I get this error every time I try to open Rebornbuddy on my laptop. Freshly installed windows 7 on it last night and updated drivers, ran the BuddyWizard multiple times and get green check marks. I've uninstalled the redistributables and .net frameworks and ran the Wizard again. Nothing seems to work. Works fine on my desktop PC, just can't figure out why it won't open at all on my Laptop. No log file because it won't create any. Any idea? Let me know if you need more information.
That's a really old folder name for a clean install, did you grab an old zip? Make sure your buddy wizard says its version 1.3.0 in the title as that error is usually caused when there is an issue with a redistributeable missing or antivirus messing with one of the files.
Sorry this is super late. The folder name is old because that was the original version I downloaded on my desktop and transferred it over to my laptop but it was update to the latest version so I don't believe that was the problem. Couldn't figure out how to fix it on Windows 7. In the end I got it working after I upgraded to Windows 10 then tried again and it worked just fine with the same files as shown in the screenshot above.
