Recently banned and have a question if my new system is better to not get monitiored

I started using this account for farming herbs and ore and thats all it did for a month for 1-12 hours every day.

Afew weeks ago i tried farming Shy Shards, did it for 5 days straight for 10 hours per day or untill i found a shard.
I stopped doing this after i found out people duped them and they are worth shit all now.
But, on the second to last day i noticed my account logged off with a error , ( i didnt read it ) and when i logged on my chara was positioned at a different spot then where i was farming , the only way it could of got there was by flying mount cause it was on the other side of a huge mountain where i was farming. I asked a friend if it might of been GM admins moving my toon to see what id do, he siad no its just a glitch with NB. So i went back to botting . A few days later i got banned.

My question is , Now i have an account with 3-4 lvl 90's im gonna get them all herb / mining.
I heard the reason why i prob got banned was i didnt do nothing but farm ore / herb so blizzard flagged the accoutn and someoen watched me .
Dont knwo if its true or not .
So for being monitored, if i was each toon for lest say 3-4 hours each farming ore / herb would that be better then running each toon once a day for 8-10 hours, For instance toon 1 8 houers next day toon 2 8 hours ?
or what should i do not to get banned ? All i wanna do is farm ore and herbs thats it ?
