I tried searching and did not really see any results. Has anyone tried to use HB with a two person RaF group? Since they have introduced the rocket mount, I have been interested in it. I was wondering, has anyone run two instances of HB in the same group? If so, what is the best way to go about it and are the XP gains that much better than standard leveling. Even though they say its triple XP, isnt the 1/2 halved already since you must be grouped. Sorry if this sounds a bit like a ramble, but it is something I am curious about.
if the raf acct is in the "linked" period (first 90 days after sending the referal) you get 300% exp you dont take group penalty as long as the 2 are within 3 lvl's of each other you will even gain 300% of any group bonus to exp. i leveled several toons with raf 1 running normal and the other running in RAF mode instead of grind bot. recently ive just used the RAF acct as healbot and manually controlling the primary toon. however the beta RAF is borked so currently its no longer an option.
I actually just downloaded HB as a trial the other day, so I never saw the RaF option. I was thinking about just starting two level 1's and have them linked together. How did the RaF option work? Both attacked t he same mob together or just stayed in proximity of each other?
the leader (grind) toon will follow the profile as normal while the Raf will follow and assist the leader. Occasionally they get stuck or loose each other but it works very well.
its very buggy. the RAF account will attack the main accounts target. however, because HB has a shit targeting system, the main account will target someone, and then just run right past, leaving your raf account fighting by himself. if you plan on using this method, it's best not to go afk while botting. you're more than likely to come back to a dead raf toon and your main 5 levels higher in a completely different area.
