I have seen many request on the forum for something like this and a lot of claims if you use this plugin with this CC and turn your head sightly 45 degrees left while balancing a plate on your right index finger it will work! I have yet to find something that actually works. So I am requesting a HealBuddy. Could be a simple plugin, just like SetTheLeader. The problem with SetTheLeader is that is continues to scan for a new the highest HP person in the group / raid. Well I am a Ret Paladin, or what if I was a cloth wearer and didn't stack Stamina? There is always gonna be some DK/Warrior/Paladin Flag runner or tank that has more than me. I want to be able to fix one player as the ONLY person that this HealBuddy would interact with. I don't want it to do ANYTHING to anybody else, just follow me and interact withme. I would think it would be something like this: I would assume that all the other stuff, such as, if I want to use this as a healbot, I need it to heal, dispel, etc, would come from a CC, so I figured something like this was needed to create a actual working HealBot. EDITS: (Here I am adding other stuff from below that the bot would need, so its all in one post and a developer can see it all) Would also need some other logic built in that said something like: Code: If 'Player X' =/= alive; [B][I]<Main player is dead>[/I][/B] Then target 'Highest HP Player in X range; [B][I]<target next highest HP in predefined range from FollowBuddy>[/I][/B] Else run to next Hotspot; [B][I]<Would do this if there are no players with in predefined range from FollowBuddy>[/I][/B] Else try to re-target 'Player X' every X seconds to check if 'Player X' is back in range of FollowBuddy [B][I]<Would check for 'Player X' every X seconds to try to go back to its main target>[/I][/B]
Yeah i could go for something like that, would need safeguard features though like if the leader died select next highest hp player and heal them and follow them untill tank can be battlerezzd or gets back to instance... and then even at that it would need to keep follow on the 2nd highest hp player untill tank 1 gets within x yards of player so it dosent arise suspician, unless your talking about like guild heroics or raids ect.... but yeah i could deff get into that

Also, just to be clear, this isn't really intended for instances really, for that you could just use InstanceBuddy. This would be for battlegrounds, running around soloing quests and having you own personal heal it or for world PvP by yourself, but I envision it as mainly a healbot follower of sorts, could be called HealBuddy or FollowHeals, whatever, but would be main specifically for a healer class l, since you wouldn't need a DPS or Tank to target your character and just follow you everywhere. EDIT: I am in the beginning phases of attempting to make this work, I only have experience in Java and havent use that knowledge for over 5 years. I was posting this to see interest, other ideas that could be implemented or things I am not thinking of, as well as if a more experienced developer is interested in picking it up.
