Hello, lately I've been testing some profiles on my rogue which farm heavy junkboxes for the insane title. Some of them work perfectly but I think there is a way to improve the heavy junkboxes / hour. In lower blackrock spire there are ALOT of mobs and the droprate for heavy junkbox is quite high. There are so many mobs theres no need to reset actually, they'll "repocket" after a while. I wonder if anyone could make profile for: Starting in Lower Blackrock Spire > Farming junkboxes in there > Go out and fly to mailbox/vendor(with flymount > then fly back Would it work? I'm pretty new here and don't know how to make profiles yet!
I'm in the process of making a LBRS profile right now. There has been so much competition over the other location in burning steppes that it's not viable(botting or farming by hand) on the majority of the high population servers. My test profile with a six minute loop nets me around 55-60 pick pockets. Sadly i've only gotten 4 or so boxes per loop which might come out to somewhere between 30-40 per hour. wowhead droprate is listed at 40%, but perhaps that number is a pre-nerf figure. Does anyone have a lot of experience hand farming LBRS? What would a good guess at a drop rate be and do the drop rates vary between mobs at the start of the instance vs ones at the end? As long as the mesh to get to the entrance works fine / portable mailbox, i should be able to make a fully autonomous profile soon.
40-50% doesn't make much sense though. How long have you been farming? Just some simple math: hand farming rogues are getting around 80+ junkboxes an hour in lbrs. There are 60 mobs that my bot takes 5 minutes to cycle through. A human could blaze through that in about half the time with cds. Assuming the droprate is 40% that would come out to 24 boxes in under 3 minutes...
dbrou: any news regarding your profile please? will you make it public or its only for your usage. I am looking for LBRS profile cause I just hit honored with Ravenholdt, soon I will need it is there any way how to use my argent companion feature for sending mails? it could be time saver and also less dangerous being spotted by another players if the bot will not have to leave instance for sending boxes.
You can only vendor with that companion, iirc. You'll need to be an engineer to craft MOLL-E to mail stuff.

your best bet will be to look for the Ilse of Quel'Danas profile that someone made a while back. It may take you longer but there is virtually no competition. I attempted to make a Burning steppes profile and sadly it didnt go over too well with the CCs but the other one works perfectly because you dont have to fly to a mailbox you just run to it. Much shorter path. If you add the addon Lootfilter and set it up correctly it will simplify it even more. It's the part that says, "Added to the: I Don't Know - Dev Team's SVN Trunk!" Just right click and copy the link from that and set it as the path for an svn folder or whatever
