I have my bot to run Vale, and the rest of the ToT LFR for me great. but I wanna gear up my toon so I did SoO part 2-4 LFR by hand, with the help of the 'combat bot' and it took... 6 HOURS to clear the last 3 wings of LFR, one time I queue directly to garrosh so had to requeue as the loot I need is off paragon. this is way too much especially those noobs wipe on boss and the downtime is just a drag. in most raids the bot was able to do complicated thing such as move out of fire and that. but we don't need that! how many LFR player actually move out of fire ? ? ? I've noticed that in most dungeons, the bot keep on CTM on the floor directly below the tank. and will follow his path when he turn around corner to not cut corner and get stuck. instead of complicated scripting, for each encounter. what we need is just a simple pathing profile like most of the grinding profiles are, combine with 'follow the tank, or the group in BG' feature. so basically we can just follow the tank and dps along. and may be disable release spirit and have auto accept rez instead? as for combat with boss, we can simply leave it to the combat bot, as I found that for all those encounters there is really nothing we need. we may stand in fire and die a lot, but that's not a big deal tons of LFR people do that it'll not get u kicked or anything. however there are just a few problem with each counter I can think of. Garakras - if bot try to follow the tower tank there will be problem, need ways to make bot to stay below and fight there Nazgrim - not big deal if u dps @ defensive, but if group keeps on wiping they may kick u for dps @ defensive, in truth its not big deal to dps him Spoils - will bot able to make the jump down to the room? siegecraft - jumping into the hole may be difficult to do.. garrosh - jumping off into the room? besides those 5, I don't see there are any other boss can't be done by just following the tank/group. so if we can have a profile to just simple follow the group in LFR, like in most dungeons. and able to overcome the few I listed on top, we should be able to afk the stupid LFRS. u may seem like a noob to others but definitely u will out-perform half the group. I have done it on most bosses by simply walk to the boss's room by hand. and turn on combat bot. and go afk and had no problem at all, i made a macro /follow focus, /tar focustarget and put the tank on focus and have key spammer to click that button every 5 seconds, and i pretty much can afk (while still watching it from time to time) and i had no problem. the only place that i truly get stuck is after killing siegecraft the /follow macro simply don't know how to jump into the pipe.
