As some of you might already know. I vanish for a while and then come back without a clue on what to do or how to do it within the game and what they bot can do. I was just looking for a bit of help, maybe someone clued up make a post on what to do within the game and what the bot can help with. Right now I am. 1: Questing main to 60 using Orderbot Profiles 2: Fate botting all other classes to 60 3: Botting Triple Triad I aim to. 1: Get all crafting to max 2: Get all gathering to max -- Obviously the end game is raiding and dungeons so I will be doing that. But what is there to gather/farm etc? Anyone got any advise on anything else I should be doing or looking into and how can RB help me with that? But yeh, it would be cool if we could all help eachother out and have a pinned post or something with whats relevant in the game right now and a link to profiles/botbases/plugins? Cheers
There are 1-50 and 50-60 gathering profiles, some 50-60 crafting profiles and I believe someone is working on 1-60 crafting profiles that haven't been released yet and I believe they won't be up for a little while. As for other stuff to do, feel free to look through the BotBases, Plugins and Profiles sub-forums for quite a lot of things you could do with RB. As usual. You the man. Need to spread rep about some more first though. What else is there to do once I've maxed this stuff out though? What brings in the gil these days? Any quests on par with the weapon quests from the last expac I should be looking into?
I'd say that crafting/converting materia/high-end gathering are the biggest income earners at this time. There are a few gathering/crafting profiles you could look into once you're 60 and have decent gear (600+ stats). Mining-Botany Profiles Other Profiles The new relic quests will be coming in patch 3.15, iirc. I'll start working on them at that time.
For leveling combat, ExMatt recently disclosed a WIP BotBase for HW FATE grinding, I forget where it is though. It's unfinished and I have to watch it for a while to see if nothing breaks, but it works beautifully in Coerthas Western Highlands after a while. Otherwise, Northern Thanalan FATE trains are the way to go with the good ol' regular FATEbot, a bit slower but no one really cares. I think someone was developing a profile for Hunt mobs which give good EXP daily but I'm not sure on the progress of that. They're also buffing dungeon EXP in 3.1 (I think?) so I might not even bot the rest of my classes to 60, nor my alt. As for gathering/farming at endgame, Ephemeral and Unspoiled are the way to go. Favours as well, but I wouldn't recommend it with 3.1 looming on the horizon. You can use Entrax's or Master9000's for Unspoiled/Favours, both work fine in my experience and it's the question of which one works better for you. Ephemeral farming, which gives you TONS of Crystals/Clusters/Aethersand, can be done using a combination of Mooncloud's MIN/BTN Ephemeral farming and Calleil's FSH Ephemeral farming.
Hey y2krazy, What does he mean? Should I copy my FatebotSettings.json file and put it in the same folder as ExFateBotSetting.json file? I was going to ask him in that thread but seems he is not going to answer me soon enough xD
It's as easy as it sounds. Copy "FatebotSettings.json", paste it into the same folder you copied it from and rename it to "ExFateBotSettings.json". If you need to adjust settings, do so either manually in the new "ExFateBotSettings.json" file, or in Fate Bot through the RB window, then delete your old "ExFateBotSettings.json", copy "FatebotSettings.json" again, paste it again and rename it again.
