I was considering buying Rift to give it a go, but I dont want to buy it and find out i dont like it... and if that happens i would prefer to have a backup plan (i.e. be able to bot the game to make my money back?) dont get me wrong, im going to keep playing WoW and using honorbuddy, but I was just wondering if there are any good bots out there or if there hasnt been enough time yet. Also, opinions on the game would be great! i really need some info that isnt just people playing it on youtube videos...
I haven't played it, but you may get more opinions on the wow forums, or a rift forum. Also @ Projektt, no need to reply like that.
thanks kickazz, but i cant really go and ask about the possibility and potential of botting in rift on a rift forum haha
ask the right questions on those forums how hard is gold to make, gear to get it, etc. How long does it take to get to X level, etc etc
I bought Rift and played it for a couple days. It is a pretty fun game but IMO was almost a clone of WoW. I have invested so much time into WoW with my characters, knowledge of classes, zones, gear etc. I decided I was going to stick with wow and by no means is Rift a "WoW Killer" as many claim. I have no idea about the financial side of the game as I didn't play it long enough. I would say it's worth the $40 to buy it and play for a month and decide for yourself though.
I purchased it and played it for a few days but I just couldn't get into it. Don't know why. Haven't played it since.
well, im starting to wonder if my computer can actually play it... i can play cataclysm on low settings for my bot... think it could manage rift on low settings? ive done the "can you run it" test and it failed... but it also failed for cata and tbc lol
I believe Rift is more graphic demanding than WoW is but not by a lot. I think you could probably run it on low settings.
Ive seen that same response to just about everyone who plays wow or has played "I dont want to stop playing because I played so long" And the ppl that do stop only stop for a year or so and come back for more years and then ... repeat first step. Wow has gotten so big while it might not grow it will only topple under its own weight with time there is no "wow killer" Rifts graphics look boss but ive watched almost every video and it seems like wow+wow=wow no real reason to play it except for a change of scenery. As far as the bot side im pretty sure its too new to have some wicked awesome bot, and if it did im sure it would cost about as much as the game itself which is only 40 dollars. Buy it try it and tell us what you think.
I played Rift in the free beta for the week got to about LVL 18. I personaly did not like the game. It did not have the deepth of WoW. There was no lore to speak of. I like Wow's cartoon like grapics better. Now my brother and his good friend play Rift now and have left WoW. They are hard core PVPers. There way of explaing it to me is the Warhammers dirty gritty grapics, and pvp. with WoW like controls and playability. There both in there 40's now on several toons, they say that there is not much end game content though. Hope this helps ya .
If anyone wants to try it for free this weekend I got a code for 5 ppl you can have 3NJK-EHFE-63LD-FZFG-6NWK
