Ban risk after 18 months not playing...Main Hi, My thread got closed because I posted it in the wrong section. I think that this section should be better. My previous thread: I have stopped playing wow since 18 months and now I would like to start playing again! I botted like 5 days on my main account (grinding) and I transfered huge amounts of gold from my bot accounts to my mainaccount with guild bank transfer for several months. Iam a little bit concerned about my account now. My question is: Is it still possible that i get banned now after 18 months or is it safe to play after such a long time if i stop botting now?
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Are you saying that long ago you botted, but now you'd like to play legitimately on your main? If this is the case, you should be fine, especially if you've never had any bans or suspensions in the past when the accounts were active.
Hi, you understand it. I stopped playing wow 18 months ago. At this time I botted with 2 other accounts and transfered about a million gold to my main via guild bank transfer. Now, after these 18 months I want to play again but this time i won't bot. And my bot accounts both got perma ban. But like I said it happened almost 2 years ago.
I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to play your main without worrying. You shouldn't have anything to worry about unless Blizz IP banned your old toons for selling gold or something.
And there is one more thing...I also sold a lot of gold (about 1 million). But like I said only my bot accounts got banned at this time. I don't know if this still matters.
dont worry, if they wanted to do anything they would have a long time ago, you are fine if you dont do anything else.
