Rotation botting [ONLY]

For those who are only using HB for rotations I'd like to know how many of you have been banned since turning off interrupts. This is mostly for me as I've personally orange-lighted the program and will not be using it until there is a confirmation of it being relatively safe (I don't really consider botting as gambling but as more of an investment). The numbers will also help the developers figure out whether their theories of blizzard banning raiders over shifty interrupts are correct or not.

Please ONLY vote if you ONLY use it for rotations, i.e. you control movement and targeting.

 

I wish people would stop making posts like this - it's not as undetected as previously thought. People ARE getting banned for using lazyraider/Tyrael only. People ARE getting banned for singular and custom routines...

What are you on about? Why are you stressing that people ARE being banned? I know that. We all know that. That's the reason for this post. Are you even sure you understand the intentions of this post?

Yesterday *Morning-Afternoon (Around 3-4 hours gameplay)
Today *Morning-Afternoon (Around 7 Hours total gameplay)

Playstyle: Exactly as you described in the post, LazyRadier only for Rotations in BGs but I control everything else, and I am very active in chat as well and play with a group.
NO PLUGINS USED BTW.
I haven't been banned yet, perhaps this is the way to go.

Was suspended three months ago for 72 hours after only rotation botting, didn't turn off CCs/interrupts, though. Only raided normal and LFR, no arenas or BGs.

Permabanned last week after booting up Lazyraider for the first time since my suspension. All targeting, interrupts, CC, and movement were disabled, no plugins were even installed, much less enabled. Disconnected me thirty minutes after finishing a 2.5 hour wipefest with failbies in the guild.

Your poll is going to be skewed by people who have never been banned, which isn't going to be very accurate. They could have been botting with interrupts enabled for ages and only recently turned it off.

 

I am asking for those who have turned off interrupts as instructed by the staff (in response to the banwave) to take the poll. No one else.

 

This poll will never be accurate, to many factors that plays in.

 

I know that now. Some people don't even understand the question.

 

It is not about understanding the question. The question you are asking are literally impossible to answer.


You have to factor these elements:

People who have never been banned is on a low radar ( meaning they dont get banned as quick as people who have been marked/banned before)
Now lets say a person who have used the bot for a few months and are not banned. He will say hes not been banned, but he could be banned the next month.
Then you have a person who have been marked, he could have been banned the same day he turn on the bot ( with only using combat routine bot)

Then you have people who have been banned, but have also used other profiles in the past, but only used combat routines the last months

Then you have people who are naive ( like me) and will say it is impossible of being banned by using combat routine ( but with time, ill probably be banned aswell)

Then you have people who use combat routines and tell some friends/family and get reported and banned ( and they claim the bot is detected, but in reality maybe they recieved reports)


There are many factors like this that plays in. In other word, you will never get a proper result in a poll like this.


Why would you even make a poll like this? Your asking for the impossible.

I have already thought about and factored these possibilities in. In the end I need numbers to work with (not that I'm really doing anything). Besides,I have asked a question that requires a yes or no response. No where in my poll or my post have I asked for anything else. Are you incapable of responding with a yes or a no? Impossible? Pshhhh.

Also, please understand that under no circumstances are any polls going to achieve the results YOU are probably expecting.

 

Which banwave?

I see you have joined less than a month ago. Do you realize the true meaning of the word banwave at all?

 

i use interupt in arena all the time with tuanha special cc and never have beeen banned for that maybe bad luck for u and its not a banwave a banwave would be if evryone gets banned while using the bot. i have been banned one time i questbot for 12 hours a day on 5 acc and only one account has been banned over 12 months witch isnt bad at all.

 

Quick Update on my status
I just logged in this morning, Still not banned. So I guess my way is so far "Safe".

My tip is just to play the game as you normally would without the bot. If you know how to play your class and know the rotations just don't bot.
If you NEED to bot to play your class because you don't know how to, then try to do it as minimal as possible, and STOP the bot when you are not in Combat.
Be active in chat, have an active guild chat, Have a party( cross realm Oqueue parties are better) and most of all, CHAT CHAT CHAT. so when blizzard says you where AFK botting, you can be like uh no probably an addon or macro went wrong, but I was totally there playing.

 

You mis-understand I haven't been banned either. There were just a lot of people posting about how BGers and Raiders were getting hammered harder than usual and so I've stopped botting till things settle down or are cleared. I was just referring to the rise in bans in general as a "banwave" but thanks for the correction.

 

bg are risky all using the same paths i do bg botting manually i use hb to do the rotation and move my self with tyrael and i do it with raids the same time ive never been banned for raiding neither

 

There were bans that involved those who were doing exactly as you are describing, or so they say. I too am doing this. I'm personally just taking a precaution as I like to invest and not gamble (I like to think there's a small difference).

 

To each their own, I myself will gamble on this part. If they ban me, I'll quit and continue life. Lol.
My combat routine as well is probably a big part of this, The developer of it has done the changes necessary to make CC's and stuff Humanspeed and not insane speed.

 

OMG I got banned on 234,6 accounts and I only show them my HB! BOT is detected! I am gona call pope to do baptism to my PC! This is INSANE!
