      From the official System Alerts page:

      New Users: After the patch drops, Buddy Wing will not function until updated. Please be patient. Users can check Buddy Updates for a version number higher than 1228.718 to determine if the update is ready.

      When available, patch notes will be found here: Patch 3.3a

      I have Norton AV. What other files besides BuddyWing.exe do I need to be ignored by Norton?

      Turning Norton completely off works, but I would rather add items to the exception list. But Norton doesn't warn me what files it is deleting when executing BuddyWing.
