      From the game forums:

      New Users: After the patch drops, Buddy Wing will not function until updated. Please be patient. Users can can check Buddy Updates for a version number higher than 1037.429 to determine if the update is ready.

      When available, patch notes will be found here: Patch 2.4.1

      severs are up and running & new version (300) of BW is up and running.

      BW only goes down briefly when the game updates, and occasionally when the navigation server needs a restart. You're good.
