Noticing all the bans in Diablo and starting to see bans here, I'm selling all my gold and laying low for a while. Hope I don't get banned! What about you guys?
Not worried the slightest. There has never been a 'real' HonorBuddy banwave, like we had a few times with Glider. If there was such a banwave your account would already have been flagged and you'd already be awaiting a ban.. just for attaching HB to WoW in the past few weeks.
finally, it seems like only the hardcore glider users actually knows what a software detection ban is and how it works. definitely a +1 to you sir!
no, they where aiming for a hack, and caught GB as a bonus. i lost a account in that banwave too, that week i only logged on for literally 2 min, i didn't even press start. thats how detection banwaves go.
from what i heard it was blizzard banning people who used a hack and buddy used the same type of injection/exploit(dont know exactly could also be one codeline that was the same). i have no banns since i use buddy in d3 and wow. software dedection was never the way in since 2009 that buddy got dd its all about the users mistake or the 24/7
Bastards. I lost an 80 shaman in that ban wave. Only ban I've had from using HB/GB too. That was when the 2 were seperate apps.
Looks like its only some US accounts getting banned by looking through the ban section tho. Doesn't already the US have higher ban rate than EU? IMO im not worried about my EU accounts... yet
Maybe EU botters are smarter and don't bot for stupid amounts of time... But no really, Everytime you attach HB to wow you risk being banned, it does suck..... i am taking a huge risk with my mage who is in a top 100 guild. But wow is boring me, and i hate making money, so yea.
