Okay, so I'm sure many of you who have played through the endgame are aware of how hard shadowpriests are to pump out good dps with. My question is how true is this in the leveling process? I've got a 60 priest sitting around that I'd like to bring up and use for farming eventually, though I'm curious as to whether they easily survive most profiles. Does anyone here have any experience with shadow priests and HB, and would you recommend it? Thanks ahead for your input.
i have 2 x 80 s priest, one botted fully one botted half... using raphus' CC's i very rarely die even on the high level mobs, its only in dungeons that spriest seem to get bad dps cause the mobs dont last lng enough to get ur Dot's up
i botted to 60 as shadow using raphus's CC, then decided to try disc. it was great.. and let me do dungeons/bgs alot easier (couldnt seem to get specswitcher plugin working.
My main is a priest and I have used HB from 24-77 with some hand dungeons in there too. I had a decent amount of issues low level. It got easier as I gained levels but the big game changer was Isis CC. That thing made the whole process 100x better. I switched to that at about 68 and I haven't had any issues. It definitely isn't the easiest thing to level or the fastest but it isn't terrible. If you are looking for someone to grind gold with I wouldn't pick a priest though. We burn mana like no other. But our DOTs are damn powerful. Oh and P.S. after I hit 60 I don't think I have died. Excluding the bot not working correctly at times.
