I guess you are using my files? But it doesn't matter here. Pressing hero power would add +1 minion that dies on the oponnents turn. That would discount Solemn Vigil by +1. Not playing anything and not using the heropower is the correct play if you aren't able to kill the Doomsayer. In my opinion, giving him cheaper carddraw has more value then -1 mana on a possible Thing from Below.
Nope, not using your files (yet?) I didn't think about Solemn Vigil, nice point you got there. But would the bot press hero power against any other opponent?
