Hello people. Today I logged on the EU forums from WoW and I noticed a change. Everyday untill now I saw something like: "Your account has been suspended for illigal activities you have no permission to post on the forum" (or something along those lines, I don't remember exactly what it said). But just now when I logged on the EU WoW forums again, I noticed that it tells me something different now saying: Account Suspended Forums that you have permission to post in are marked as [Limited] on the forum list. When I logged in my battle.net it still showed both my accounts as Banned. But I don't have WoW installed on my computer atm, so I can't check if anything has changed by trying to log in. I did send a letter to France a few days ago. Could this have something to do with it? Anyone else noticed this change?
They're probably just patching their websites to deal with the 6-month bans, just like the accounts showing as Banned in account management.
Ehm...now when I click on the "learn more" button at the forum, it tells me that my account is permanently banned. It used to give me info about my previous 72 hour suspension. But now it says permanent :S...
It is again secondary system, which you do check. The forum software is not coded for 6 month suspensions. Blizzard's official definitions about suspension used to be "any penalty not longer than 14 day", but any penalty longer than 14days, up to account closure are classified as Ban for them. So I really doubt the forum software was update for the recent 6 month suspensions.
