I've been skimming the forums and planning to purchase a few SOR accounts to use as farms to supply my main. As far as I can tell, there are several triggers to cause account bans, one of the largest is merging with your bnet account (due to names being different obviously). Would it be safer to lock the account with an authentication and never merge it? Obviously I dont really care about the account or any toons/pets/mounts/titles that come with it and only want to use it for gold farming. Any input from those more experienced would be appreciated.
You don't have any choice but to merge it, the accounts come without a battle.net and to log in it makes you create/merge one.
