Hey guys, Been using the bot for a long time now and love it. If it quit working altogether today, I would feel that I got my money's worth out of my lifetime membership. That being said, I am having some serious issues lately. I just started using the bot again after being gone for a few months. I completely deleted my old bot folder, downloaded fresh (x.5418) and it keeps telling me that there is an update available. I also am having an issue with GB2 not mounting. I have looked through the logs and can't find it even TRYING to mount. I have set the general settings for a mount and I have disabled the mount in general settings and used the bot settings. I have even tried setting both for the same mount and enabling both. Nothing... It also gets stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing around and runs back and forth jumping. Is it thinking that it should be on a flying mount, maybe? On top of this, regardless of what bot I am running, I can never get it to go more than an hour and a half without something (WoW or the bot, usually WoW) crashing or getting "stuck too long in one place, logging out" and then doing just that. When I log back in, he is usually just standing there with nothing around (if he wasn't in a BG, of course.) Is there possibly anything I can do to mitigate the crashing issues? I have a pretty damned good computer and I bot WoW on the lowest settings. I have tried disabling all addons and I have stopped using plugins for HB. Please be noted, I am not bashing HB or the Devs, I am just looking for advise. I am fairly computer savvy, but definitely not a programmer. I have only the faintest of ability when it comes to actually messing with code. Thank you in advance for any attempts to help.
what kind of framerates are you getting when your botting? you can also try. turning LearnFlightPaths to false use Mount to True UseRandomMount: to false UseFlightPaths to false and manualy fill in your FlyingMountName for example "Swift Green Gryphon" or whatever your flying mount is called. turning off use flightpaths and learn flight paths cuts down on the running back and forth just to update taxi node and 90% of the time if you have an Epic mount its faster just to let the bot run to where its going.
I'm sorry about the slow reply, I got distracted by life. I believe I have fixed the issue, though. In response to your questions and suggestions, I was getting 60 FPS while botting and I had tried all that you suggest. The stability issue was apparently due to spyware. I had switched from Spybot S&D to MalwareBytes for a reason I do not recall. I re-installed Spybot and it caught about 30-40 spyware instances that MalwareBytes was ignoring. As soon as I did that, the stability issues all but vanished. I now am running the bot for 8-10 hours at a time before it crashes, though it does still seem to get stuck in AV and log itself out a fair amount... As far as the mount, I had tried everything I could find searching through the forums, but it appears that my issue was lack of a flying mount. As soon as my rogue hit 60, I got flying and azerothian flying and my GB2 was picking flowers like a champ. I am offically back to full steam with my bot now. Thanks for the time spent helping me, G.
