Hi there, Not meaning to sound unappreciative or any of that "WHY ISN'T THIS READY YET" nonsense. I mostly used it for grinding BOT and MIN to 60 at the end of HW but was excited to use it to level up some DoW and DoM as well as grind gathering nodes for gils. I'm not savvy to this stuff but I used ExBuddy and stuff like that and was wondering how long it usually takes to get things like that up and running or if it already is? I can't really tell via the bug reports etc. If it is and its just different than it was based on developers losing interest etc I am looking to grind pvp or fates up to 60-70 and grind gathering nodes to make gil, are there profiles up and running for that in stormblood currently? ExBuddy is an extension to the OrderBot part of RebornBuddy. Since it is an add-on it is up to that person who created it to get it updated. You can post something there but you also have to consider the profiles you are using as well since those need to be updated for everything that has been updated in RebornBuddy baseline. That said though, RebornBuddy in its original context is working perfectly fine for the most part. You can download the BETA version and use that and find some standard Order Profile instead of ExBuddy ones. There are plenty on the site and Kagepande has some top notch ones, you should start there. Keep in mind that it is good to keep up with all aspects of the project instead of just what you prefer, especially around patch times. This wont be the last time that you will have to go through this. Make sure you keep an eye on the Sticky Threads which will answer most of the important questions around this time. EDIT: Looks like ExBuddy is up and going for the BETA version of the client. You might take a look into it if you have not.
Hi and thank you for the response! A couple new guy questions. Will the client auto update or do I need to dl the new beta, also if I have things SVN'd can I just update through that or do I need to manually dl and install like I did the first time? Thanks so much, I know this may seem like "no shit" to you guys but its new to me.
Hey again, Don't fret about the questions, everyone starts in ignorance at some point. ;D I would go through and install fresh for the BETA but it auto updates just like the other clients do. You'll have to set back up the SVNs for the plugins you are using but its better to ensure things don't go south due to one of them. That is my 2 cents anyway. xD
Thanks for the responses! Was on vacation the last couple. I'm trying to find exbuddy and exfatebot etc and I feel like I'm losing my mind. Am I missing a massive part of this forum? I can't find them for the life of me.
Im curious about the state of bans and how bans are handeled in FFXIV, 3 days first offense etc or just instant permanent ban? Also, how frequent are the banwaves if any?
