Storm buddy starts a game and then sits there?

I just got the 3 day trial today. I set up the controls. Game is windowed and the 32bit launch is turned off under the battle.net app. The bot starts a game but then just sits there doing nothing until I am kicked. It then starts another game and repeats the whole thing over again. The only thing the bot says is searching for players. What should I do?

Ok I downloaded the alpha set it up and I'm getting this error.

 

Ah i see, from yesterday to today blizzard patch hots.
So we need to update the bot, after the patches are available you can try SB again or using SB Alpha.

 

Any idea as to when the patches will become available? What about my 3 day trial period will that be extended to after the bot actually works?

 

When the patch is available contact the support, normally you will get it back.

 

I downloaded the new Beta version which has the alpha UI. It says theres an update available and when its downloaded the bot now looks like the original version I was using. Either way the bot still just sits there and does nothing. The alpha threat just takes you to the beta download. Im not sure whats going on but the bot doesn't work. It starts a game and then just sits in game till I get kicked. It then starts a game again and repeats the process.

Just sits not moving until the game kicks for afk, fresh new install tried all different game and windows compatibility settings but cannot get it to do anything at all.

Edit: so it seemed to be something to do with talents, so I thought I would try play through a game manually doing the talents, this did work (attached the second log) but something really funky happened, when I started it up, I had 'Hero1' on the screen, when loading it is said the same hero's name, however upon entering the game map, a different hero appeared, not only that, while I was manually applying the talents, but none of them worked at all and the 'R' skill didn't even show up on the bar after selecting the heroic talent at lv 10, after the bot selected to leave and go back to hero selection 'Hero1' appeared again as the selected hero, upon clicking on it to bring up the selection 'Hero2' did gain exp and level up to level 2, one other thing to note is that the hero ingame was using a skin and mount colour that I do not have unlocked, the hero was lv1 and had never been played and the skin and mount colours were the hero level 8 & 9 ones.

 

Should be fixed with the next patch. Let us know with a new Log-file if the problem still appears.

 

I had this as well as the bot difficulty having adjusted to Elite from Beginner. I would assume this is a Blizzard attempt to fool bots should it detect them. I entered the game as Kerrigan vs. Beginner bots then the game gave me Brightwing vs. Elite bots. Probably just Blizzard doing its job.

The bug seems to be split into 2 parts.

Bug1 - sb wont load talent module, all talents need to be input manually, and the bot will just sit there throwing out errors until done so.
Bug 2 - For the first game played of every game session sb causes a random hero to be picked and all talents to be bugged for said hero, the hero, skin, mount and all colours for it will be randomized and will also include variations that you do not own, for example, in the log it loaded in lv90etc, I do not own this hero and it is not on weekly rotation, the skin used was a paid one which again I do not own, same for the mount, and both colour variations were of lv8/9 with the hero level being lv1, this bug can be avoided by starting hb after you are already fully loaded into the game, if started before there is some different things that can happen, so starting it at any point before loading screen will randomize everything, starting it during the loading screen will keep your selected hero, but will randomize skin, mount and their colours, if done after loading screen before hero has fully loaded into the map will cause only talents to bug.

 

Try the new SB version, if your problem still appears attach a new log file please, we added a lot new information for us.
