Hey guys, i'm experiencing a very strange ban behavior the last days..Just wanted to ask if anyone is experiencing something similar..Trust me, i'm very experienced in getting banned..xD But thats strange to me.. At first i got ~5 accounts banned..BUT now listen..: The accounts got their passwords changed before they were banned..I could see that in the eMails i got from Blizzard..First eMail - PW Change, then 30min later - 72h Bann for game hacks.. One day after that i got another ~30 accounts banned with the same strange behavior, all 72h. So my first idea was like "Ok, the PW was changed before they were banned, so i got my accounts hacked by strange ppl.." BUT i dont rly think thats possible, because the accounts were on 2 different PCs, that were ONLY used for botting..never used their browser neither have i visited any homepage ever or done anything i could have gotten a virus from.. Even if one PC would've been hacked, it's very unlikely that all 2 PCs got infected at the same time..! I scanned my PCs with 3 different antivir programms, nothin to be found.. So..i just wanted to know if anyone else got banns like this or got any idea what this means ?!
Yeah, it happened to me yesterday aswell, I thought it would have been hacked but no, it was locked and banned.
Yep same here..before the ban I received a 'suspicious activity' mail so I had to change my pass then bot again I should have known
Same! Got 4 Accounts banned on monday 1. Email from Blizz with pw change 2. (30 mins-2h later) Ban eMail
same, appealed acting clueless, first they answered that ban stands, but they didn't close the ticket so i kept pushing, after second try they removed my 3 day ban
Most probably they've seen that you were botting and now they are checking if you are the owner and have access to the account itself..in my case I started botting again few hours after it for 6-7 hours and the ban hit. Sadly my ban remains EVEN if I never did what they said I did in the email ( selling gold ) I never made a trade/sending an ingame mail ... it really sucks that they can actually accuse you of something you never did and still you have no proof for that

This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy. i was botting for 2 hours, got this just now :|?? and seems like someone compromised HB file to hack you or something?, was a fresh download start. and no it was not virus on my pc as i scanned it with 4diff virus and online scanners + maleware etc
They will send you the same message when you are using some kind of P-roxy (V-P-N). So if you did, then that was the reason.
I didn`t bot between the "psw change email" and the "bot email". i even didn't click on the link for the psw change yet, will wait a bit and then try to get my accs back
Yes! I still can not log in into my account because I have not clicked on the passwort change email yet Just got an email from perma ban to 72h
