      Hi!

After having problems dying in Cata dungeons and getting killed by people farming for Bloody Coins outside Wotlk instances, I have finally settled for an area where I make in the viscinity of 600-700g per hour, per character. Currently I am running 12 bots simultaniously, and I have yet to be banned.

However, I want to take this to the next level, and that includes botting in the safest possible manner.

Currently, I have two computers that have bots running on them 24/7, 6 bots on each computer. I want to bring that number up to 10 on each, and I also recently ordered a gaming laptop to bot 24/7 on as well, I think it can handle about 6-8 bots looking at the specs. That brings the number of bots up to 26-28.

The amount of gold I get per 24hrs is 400,000g, not including all the cloth I get as well, which currently sells for 80-120g per stack on my server.
Looking at these numbers, and looking at how very possible this is to pull off, I want to bring this to the next level. This includes starting up my own business, which in Norway does not cost any money to do, and I can then make up to $10,000 per year selling gold. Now all these bots are going to be suicide bots, where I sell off the gold as I make it so I am not worrying about my accounts getting banned. They will either farm for 30 days afterwhich I throw them in the trash, or get banned prematurely. But then I would have sold off the gold anyway, so I will still make profits from them.

After my calculations, running a single bot for 24 hours in one dungeon and selling the gold yields me enough money to buy two new accounts, so the profit margin here is very high indeed.
Now I have given you all the basic info, here is the hard part:

      How do you:

      - Set up a VPN network that allows you to bot on 20-30 accounts at a time that can change IP any time you need to, if an IP get's banned.
      - Get rid of 12 million gold per month.
      - If I really want to, I can make a lot of cash on this, how do I make a LOT of money without Blizzard suing my ass?
      - If I want to send some gold to my main, how do I launder the money?

Also, bonus question: I have already botted 6 accounts 24/7 for 2 weeks now while playing my main account on the same computer. It's the same public IP, same Hardware ID, if I just ''stop'' playing on this IP, i.e set up a VPN, can they still connect the dots with the Hardware ID and ban my main account that has never had any contact with my bots? No whispers, no trade, no gold linked, no nothing. Thanks!

I think that's all the questions for now.
Looking forward to hearing what people have to say about this.

      - Romis.

      Also, bonus MATHS:

      Botting on 12 bots for 24 hours = 600g * 12accs * 24hrs = 172,800g * 30days = 5,184,000m gold.
I currently sell that to a private market for $0,5 per 1,000g. Which yields me $2592 per month.
I know this seems like a ludicrious amount of money, and this is just given that I bot for 24 hours per day, per character, and I sell everything I have.
Still though, when you then add that I am raising the amount of bots up to 30 bots, you see that the money will start pouring in.

(which is why I am starting up my own company, so I don't have to pay 50% taxes on the money. :D )

There are many flaws in your bussiness plan , Romis.

First, handling that many bots will be a full-time job. Afk farming is a complete myth, even with 24/7 dungeonbots with guildbanks scheduled.

Second, Let's accept you've been lucky till now. You have botted 6 accounts 24/7 for 2 weeks, and have yet to receive a ban. Now, average survival time for first-time offending 24/7 dungeoneers goes from 1 week to 2 weeks. I think that the fact that you plan your main from the same Ip could have helped it to not be considered a gold farming IP if it got investigated, so you were given some more time out of it.
From the first time you get banned, You'll try to rebuild on the same IP (everybody who bots on a semi-large scale does, even when we're aware of the consequences) to avoid the V p n -v p s troubles. You'll get banned within hours, max 2 days. Then you'll try a known VPN provider. You'll get banned as fast as the previous time, or faster. Then you'll try Vm's, or aless known and more expensive Vpn. Your bots will go back to lasting 1-2 weeks again.

Third, you'll have to create accounts for every ban. When you have, five, six, ten accounts, it doesn't get that nasty. When you've got to create 30 new accounts, with 30 new emails , you'll want to kill yourself out of boredom. Plus, you'll probably want to keep many different Hb installations (maybe wow installs too). Each of them will take time, for settings, putting the plugins, updating, etc.

Fourth. Your currently very lucrative private market of 0,5 $ per 1K gold is amazing. Now, will they be able to buy 5m a month at the same price? Allow me to seriously doubt it. You could consider yourself lucky, assuming you play on EU servers actual gold price ranges from 0,1 to 0,3 $ on bulk buys.

Fifth. If you keep on it for enough time, you'll eventually face a manual investigation. If the Gm is competent, that will mean that all your accounts will be banned. Probably your main account too. 90% sure your inactive "bank access" accounts will be banned too. And all gold you had amassed from the last time you sold till that moment will be gone by the wind. Poof.

There are many more aspects to consider, of course. But , you are from norway. How can you compete in this market with some people (some from this very forum itself) that have a bigger number of accounts, better computers, amazing automatized systems of creating accounts, individualized ips, and whose costs (both staff costs and material costs) are 1 /10 th of yours?
Furthermore, bigtime gold sellers will not give a warm welcome and hug you out. They will reduce their prices to make you go out of profit. just because they can, they will still profit, and if they take you out , they'll be able to handle the market better.

TLDR: don't even botter. If it is working now, on a small scale, enjoy it while it lasts!

THis guy is totally full of shit. For 1 not even websites are getting .5/k. Unless you own 1 of them you are not getting that kind of money. Also I assume you bot EU. EU gold market is FLOODED right now. I know because Im a reseller. You are not moving 400k a day.

Id post more but its a waste of time. If you didnt type a wall of text I would have just thought you were trolling.

Plenty of problems OP that i think you did not consider properly.

      1. On your current server you can make X amount of gold. Well though shit every server is different. If you manage to make 600-700g in pure gold drops and vendor okey, but if you factor your AH sells. It won't work markets change, and every server is different. You are most likely just farming another dungeon, i think that sooner or later all dungeons will be nerfed or the banning algorithms bettered to stop the current Grim Batol-Stonecore situation.

      2. Moving large amount of gold even on different accounts triggers some kind of ban.

      3. Even if i don't believe the price per k you gave, it won't last once you start moving bigger amounts.

Indeed, revise your business model at 0.15$-0.2$ on EU and a bit higher on US.
When you go big, you don't have time to deal with private buyers, unless you hire someone to do so (depends where you live).
Second your gph will go down by XX% when you manage lots of account. Well in my case at least, i level them up much faster and don't monitor them much.
Third, i'd advise a third computer where you manage the trade and use a dynamic ip, the others comuter will farm exclusively.

And buying accounts all the time cause of banning is not cheap either, plus you need like 10 unlimted hb accounts(onetime fee but still), plus the time to level new bots when they are banned.. etc etc.

Guys Guys guys.... i did some measurements, of my room and i discovered something....... <.< >.>

/whispers "It can house around around 2000-3000 computers, if stacked properly and leave no place in between"

Being the genius i am i have the colling already planned. Using not one but two AC units used as radiators in a complex water cooling system that will cool all the computers. A well pump will be needed to move the water fast enough.

I would probably need 3000 diffrent ISP or safe enough VPN. The electrical bill will be mesmerizing, maybe i will need new electrical work and stuff but it would be all worth it trust me on this!

Well i am not insane so i did the math. STAND BACK I WILL USE MATH!!! 30 000 bots or 10 per computer. 500-600gph on ever bot, averaging at 13k gold per bot for 24 hours. This means almost 400k for 30 days. BUT THAT IS NOT ALL... multiply that by 30 000 bots and you will get 12000000k gold(holy shit ni**er that is 12000 mil gold!!!) AS you see the numbers add up and only partially insane and delusional.

OH yess... you guessed right, that math goes on! Every bot should get around 40 euro a month, not taking in to account the expenses. BUT multiply that by 30 000 and we get 1200000 euro per month. (OH shit we millioner today).

P.S. I am looking for investors. We going to the MOON guys!.

I am seriously curious about your setup running 250 bots. In full detail please including number of PC's etc. This will be entertaining.

This is where you're wrong. I take it you aren't trolling:
Your math is purely theoretical and contains a world in assumptions.
      You havn't considered bans.
Having dreams is great, but you're not being very realistic. You've botted x accounts for two weeks, good for you. As I'm sure most people before you have experienced sooner or later, botting 24/7 will get you banned. Don't make a company. I don't even know how you're paying 50% as you can funnel the money through Paypal and not pay a dime in taxes.

TL;DR if botting on 6ish accounts 24/7 works for you, stay like that and enjoy it while it lasts.

Sys Admin here: If you have enough money, you can purchase pretty powerful server hardware, and software for managing tons of VMs. It's what I do at work. It would be easy(well easy for me, this shit is really finicky) to create a master image with WoW and HB, and a startup script that would claim HB licenses from a file. Maybe even connect to a vpn that allows multiple connections from a single account. Creating the VMs is the easy part. Managing the WoW accounts is not. I suppose you could set up some automation for e-mail and wow account creation that pauses for user entry for the anti-spam stuff. VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) is pretty powerful stuff.
