I am not trying to advertise this, I am looking for simple help.
I would like to make my very first website.

Basically i made a simple HTML file

i uploaded it to the ftp server or w/e
I would think it would look like a legit website...

instead the website says
index of /
if i go back to the control panel and go to folder-index-manager
I can set it for no indexing, but then the website shows
Error 403

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.



Anyone have any ideas what I missed? lol

 

Never mind... i found out that i put
Index.html instead of index.html
it doesn't like capital letters lol.
