Logged out on the 11th at 18:30 before lunch , raided with Wtoolkit at 8pm on thursday, got banned in the night 12th/13th until 2019 for thirdparty hacks&bots.
1) For me at this point is obvious this bot is easily detectable now days since even people simply boting rotations for just a couple of hours in an entire day are getting caught so impossible they are reported ect. 2) As a fellow boter i'm sorry for your loss but as a hardcore raider competing on the server i play for first 3 positions i'm actually glad people using hacks / bots for this reason are not getting away with it ( same go for arena and rated BG's hacks / bots ) And not only you will make things unfair for others guilds but also for raid members who are fighting to keep their raiding spot making less dps than you simply because you have an automated program doing it ! I understand in this game there is to much fucking stuff to grind and we also got a Real Life ! So i used HB as well for the last 6 years to farm Herbs / Minerals / Various mats and even dungeons mounts but also during Legion the damn infinite AP because i don't have time to farm myself. If it was just PvP farm with randoms or LFR farm then i could easy look away since is also grinding / farming. But in my opinion when you go play yourself in that Heroic / Mythic raid or make some serious rated PvP it should be your skills and fingers there pressing fast those rotations buttons and not the bot.
Fighting for spots? You come on, this isn't serious progress stuff, it is just having a good time with people you know and if you get ahead of the curve just before a new raid comes up it is fine.
This is word play here. I don't agree that the bot is easily detectable. We had a few events yes where the bot was detected notably the Oct 13th 15hr event and before when we first came back. Past that it seems that they (Blizz) sent out on a few occasions well changes that would make the bot detected but it was caught by Tripwire. Over the past few days what I am seeing is ATTEMPTS to detect thwarted by Tripwire along with a few false positives. My hope is that the recent update 897 will hold for awhile to all HB team time to create a more long term solution taking what they have learnt over the past few days in terms of direction of Blizzard attacks to update Tripwire and the core scripts. I personally have never used a rotation bot but might consider do so not for extreme competitive gain like trying to rank high on the ranking system but to get gear and be effective in my group.
