Hi Guys, I need some guesses on the question in the title. If my account got a 72h ban, can I transfer one character on this account to a fresh and virgin account and continue botting with the character without being flagged like the old account? The bnet help says that punishments are always just against one wow account and not against a whole battle.net account. If i create a new wow account in a new bnet account, couldn't i continue botting with the old character? Thanks for your thoughts
i would just cancel the old account and continue with the new one. a level 90 char with both professions on 600 are worth the 30 bucks, i guess.
no you dont seem to understand my point i just got a normal botting account with a level 90 trash equipped char with herbing and mining on 600. because this account got a 72h ban today, im thinking about transferring the char onto a new account, so i can continue botting with this character. the only reason i want to do this, is because i'd more like to pay 20 bucks for the char transfer than to level a new character from 80 - 90 and to skill the both professions.
yea of course i want to continue to bot on the new account thats the reason why i want to transfer the character. and exactly this is my question, if the new account will be flagged aswell, if i transfer a character from a flagged account onto it.
You will probably end up being watched for a while. Plain and simple. Your account got suspended for 72hours , you wish to take a 90 trash toon from the suspended account and transfer him to another account and continue botting the 90 trash toon. imo I think you'll just end up screwed on 2 accounts.
ok, thats what im thinking aswell. so the best possibility is to sell the account and get a new one with that money?
Why sell it? It's only a 72 hours suspension. Just use some common sense when botting. Bot smart and bot hard. Use some human interactions as well , such as dogging on someone in local chat or trade chat. Toss in a dungeon or two a night. Keep blizzard guessing.
but if the account is flagged after the 72h ban, won't they perma ban it short after the first ban, if they see im botting again?
Lay off of botting for a few days, and be more careful next time. I think it's a bad idea to spend anymore money on this character. If it was mine, I would just use it and abuse it like I planned to lose it.
but why shouldnt i sell the account on ebay? i think even a trashed equipped 90 character on a mop account would give 50-60 $, from which i could get a new sor account and a new mop key
Dont transfer the character, Ive recovered accounts with up to 4 permabans and sometimes it takes just 1 ban to never get it back. Having the character in a new account does not guarantee that blizz will let you bot like a free man. After the 72 hour suspention stop botting cause you obiously care about that character. Only bot if you are not afraid of losing the account.
They would see the transfer. AKA : they'd see you xfered him from an account that was banned. you wont get banned, necessarily, but the new account would be "tainted" in a sense, if you were ever banned again, they would see that you've been banned on a diff acc before.
actually i dont care about this account, because it has nothing i couldn't get again in a few days. but i was searching for a solution, how i maybe can keep the character, because it is some work to level a new one from 80-90 and to skill the professions.
It's just bullshit that you get flagged, they ban you and think you'll have learned your lesson. Just go on with botting as you previously did, just don't bot 24/7, 20/7, 18/7 and so on. Bot like 2 or 3 hours a day and then the next day only 1 hour and the day after 5 hours, mix things up a little
Two things I was trying to tell you: 1. don't throw good money after bad (Blizz has the character flagged and spending money to transfer him isn't going to solve that problem) 2. accept that he is a marked character (hide him away for special ocassions if you are sentimental about him, abuse him if you simply don't care, or sell him if you need the money)
now im not sure if this will help or not, now im going back a few yrs ago when i use OpenBot i had a 72hr suspension for some crap that my son did on the account, but i also tried to transfer a character to from the flagged account to a new 1, after being unsuccessful i telephoned Blizzard and asked why i could not move said char, the info i was given is because the account had been involved in a suspension i could not transfer any characters to another account or realm for 90days then it was pending approval even after the 90 days. so all that being said im not sure if Blizzards policies have changed but you may not be able to move the character to another account for 90 days anyway.
Blizzard keeps track; they know people do this and they are prepared to handle it. Don't waste your money.
