I made a trial account and upgraded using one of my key purchased during the 5$ craps, when trying to use that account as dummy and guildinviting it, i got a msg saying trial account cannot be guild invited ! I tough it was a bug , so i created another, burned a second cd key from that 5$ cheaps sale and i tryed to guildinvite a new lvl 1 toon and got same result! Did they change anything , someone else having that problem ??? Thx Zuruss
I think you 4got that trial accounts can take up to 72 hours to remove all limitations set fourth(which would be what you are trying to do). So give it a couple of days and see what happens don't burn another key. If this helped +rep!
it would suck to limit someone willing to level asap that way , oh well...lets wait i guess. if someone get same problem as me, post plz, if you find a way to dodge it, lets me know as well =P
Ya I am almost 100% sure that's what it is. I would just double check with Google or something lol. But one thing i do know for sure is that trial accounts have those limits for security reasons so ppl like me wont make a trial invite the trail to my bank get gold from my bank sell gold from trial account then delete the account.
i have the exact same issue after doing the digital upgrade.. cant trade or access guild stuff or invite ppl to a group... it's quite annoying.
most of the time when you make a trial account and then upgrade it right away, you have to wait for the trial period to end before it will let you do things like trade, and that kinda stuff. you may have to play the waiting game for a week till the trial period is over.
but some things are unlocked.. i can whisper ppl, i can send mail, i can level past 20.. but ya, certain things are locked.. quite stupid...
i generaly buy from offgamers, i never ever had this problem before.....used a tons of trial to sell, bank mule and always upgraded right away, guess those digit were little trapped to smooth the abuse.... Zuruss
It happened me once that i upgraded a trial account directly from blizzard website(using my credit card). It took three days to get my account fully unlocked. Since then, i've always upgraded from trial to retail using cd-keys bought on some famous websites(like offgamers), and never had this "issue" again
Ticket a GM and ask them to remove the trial limitations as you have obviously upgraded, or wait it out if you don't want the heat. My RAF accounts usually take the full 7 days if I don't put in a email/ticket.
i've called blizz in regards to this. They said it takes up to 72 hours to change it from trial to regular upgrade - Kick
