okay I kinda asked this question before, now I really want to know why the DH pulls full idiot and goes into mellee here / death instantly mode? Why does it do this? Nearly every profile with Trinity the DH acts 90% good till it pulls this stupid melee crap, why isn't it in sentry mode and killing at max range it can 99% of the time? What gives on the barb code during use of a DH. I have spent days looking into this, this is the only reason I am posting now because I know if I search days more I will still not find the answer.
Do you mean it works most of the time (stays fighting at range), but sometimes it'll run right up to an enemy for no reason at all? Could you enable debugging (Trinity advanced tab->"Show debug info in db status bar") and you'll have to have quick eyes but monitor the status bar (VERY bottom of the demonbuddy window) while fighting. Whenever you see your DH being stupid and running into melee range - hit your screenshot key - see if you can paste to me what the status bar is saying. perhaps it's trying to use a skill at a range shorter than it needs to be. Try and get a few screenshots to rule out possibilities/make sure it's always the same thing overall. You'll have to be fast and get it the moment the DH is clearly trying to run into melee range for no reason.
FIGURED THIS OUT ! WOOT ! It's the ranges they need to be adjusted at least to make things someone more survivable. The default on many of the ranged skills is 49, I have since adjusted them to 79 99 etc. However; this seems to small also, will fine tune these and upload and give instruction on how to easily change, as well a sysop default would be nice also. Hope to add the right numbers with some testing and inform.
