Truman422-Death Knight-CC First off, for credit due: cowdude created the spellcasting code, and I put it in with my gladiatore code and this code because it works so effing good. Sounds like he had a bit of a fit because I forgot to mention that I did this. So here it is. cowdude's spellcasting code is the shit, and his pm's are always full so I couldn't get proper permission to use his code. The functionality of this is the same as my warrior CC, but built for death knights. It doesn't have many settings yet, and just does basic fighting for all 3 specs. This is loaded through SVN. Tested a few DK-CCs at the raiddummies and this is my result with my 355ilvl frost-dk: Truman422 Death Knight -22k a while at burst then goes down and stays at solid 17-5-18k (tested a zul'gurub and ended at 19k overall and 18k-26k on bosses) Singular - 12-13k Fpsware DK - 14-15k Deathstrike frostDK - 14-15.2k Felmasters frostDK (the one i've mainly been using recently) - 15-16k(sometimes 17k) I havent had time to test it in dungeons yet, but does it use Death And Decay for AoE? Singular does and its darn sweet as dps-increase as DPS.
Yes, it's supposed to, but I think I still have little kinks to work out with my aoe code. I'll figure it out eventually, but it'll cast it randomly you'll see, I'm not sure why it doesn't work exactly.
Theres one thing I thought about, could you maybe add the code so that it targets the tanks target automatically? I've tested Singular a little and it seems like he has made it so that it does that, after he's targeted the tanks target you CAN switch to another if you wants though.
I didn't design it to specifically support pvp, because I don't play a death knight, so I'll add stuff as I think of it, but otherwise, I'm sure it'll do good enough in pvp. The singular code, doesn't allow you to change from its target, it'll change back to whatever target the CC thinks is the right target. Trust me, I've explored this option, and it's just better to be free to target what you need, depending on the situation you're in. Especially if you need to pull off your target and raise ally. Singular wouldn't allow you to do this.
I don't need a CC that wins matches for me, just fighting back suffices. Its for farming points, to win PvP I play that by hand cause I enjoy that So if it fights back and loses, that is just fine for me. Can farm AV then ^^ That said, I will give it a try later when I'm done farming on my other toon. It's in my subscribed threads for now.
Keep in mind though, that you still have to play with this, it doesn't include any movement. It's designed for you to run at whoever, move around etc, but it'll do the fighting stuff for you.
Oh, I thought I could use this to farm Alterac Valley over nights. But then this will probably not for me. Thanks though.
For PVP, the recommended "rotation" is Outbreak, Howling Blast 4X, Necrotic Strike 2X, then Frost Strike dump. Other things that are PVP specific: 1) You'd also want to use Chains of Ice to root your target. 2) Use Death Grip to pull your target from range to melee. 3) Strangulate when target is casting 4) Mind Freeze when target is casting 5) If health is low, cast Lichborne and Death Coil yourself for self-heal.
Confirmed range-problems here as well while facing bosses with bigger hitboxes. Couldnt hit occuthar with other than autoattack last BH.
I found the issue under the actual CC file edit out the Death grip portion under the frost rotation.. To the CC maker as a dps Frost/unholy you never ever use DG in raids /5mans unless under very few and far occassions. Please remove this from your CC it is what is causing some of the range issues and a couple of my raid wipes tonight by getting gibbed (DG taunts the boss)
I see he's updated it tonight so Im gonna try get into a BH and see if the hitbox-issue is fixed. In original gladiatore or the one on page19 in that thread there was an option where you could change range or something. What was that about? I didnt get to try it, and I had the same problem with bosses with big hitboxes there too. Strange thing it didnt seem to have a problem with Baleroc.
Yeah the deathgrip is annoying, it steals the aggro from tanks the whole time. Please edit that out so we can use it manually, or just keep it for blood atm.

Wtf are you talking about? You being random today? I do not see what you are getting at or who your post is even targeting. If your post is to the CC creator, he is the one who made gladiator and this CC is a clone of it (he is allowed to it is his fucking CC). So make some context to who you are talking to or stfu.
