Hello everyone! Ok, so I found a much better spot to farm for dragon scales and savage leather, but Im not having luck writing a profile. This is my first attempt, and I did look it up and read about it, but some of the things were not very descriptive (I.E. the factions line). Can someone help me figure this out? I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to ask here. The profile looks fine imo, only problem i see is you dont have many hotspots in your program so whats gonna happen is you will mount and when that happens any mobs between the 2 hot spots will not get killed even with kill between hotspots on unless you aggro them. If thats the problem try adding more then 4 hot spots. If this isnt the problem and you are attacking other monsters you do not want 2 attack then you need to add something like this. <avoidmobs> <mob entry="43181" name="Shalehide Basilisk"> </mob></avoidmobs> AvoidMobs Mob Entry="43181" Name="Shalehide Basilisk" AvoidMobs make sure to include all proper < > Lastly there is a developer tool that you can use to find out the faction of mobs if this is what u wanted to know. Just simple click the enhanced mode box then clock developer tool when the sub window opens target the monster you want the info on and simple click the refresh icon and BAM! all the info is on ur screen if u want to copy this info simple click copy xml or click on the part of the info you want and return to the main HB window and u should be able to copy and paste it from your log. <avoidmobs> <mob entry="43181" name="Shalehide Basilisk"> </mob></avoidmobs>
The problem I'm having is that when I load this profile, nothing happens. The bot doesn't move to the location, and even if I put the bot there, it doesn't kill anything. The spot for this profile I'm trying to make is small. So, I really couldn't add any more hot spots to it. The spot is maybe 80 yards in any direction from the middle of the farming area. There aren't any other mobs in the area to attack, only the ones I'm making the profile for. I did try what you suggested to do to grab the info for the faction. The Developer tool only listed one number, 14. That's the number that I added in that line of the profile.
Yes, I tried Grind Bot and combat bot. I tried to load it into profession buddy and just run it w/o profession buddy. No such luck.
